Absolutely beautiful. You make the song sound like it was composed for fretless bass.

This was a really bold move, ESPECIALLY doing it on the fretless where the potential of clashing intonation is so evident. I came across this because I'm thinking of making it my next piece and wondered if any other bassists attempted it. Nicely done.

Great job Arran, I know how difficult it is to maintain good intonation on a fretless bass guitar, and you do it justice. Well played man!

Wow, good luck with that! :) I love playing things that weren't originally written for bass guitar - it's great to push yourself all the time as it keeps things interesting!

This is fantastic man! Is this a piccolo bass or a standard?

Hi Shannon, Thanks for the comments, I'm glad you like it! :) It's standard 6-string bass tuning of BEADGC, but I have 27 frets on this bass, so I can reach an Eb (although there is an artificial harmonic in there which I use to hit a high F at the top of the chord at 1:42) All the best, Arran
