WOW!! I've been a Denussy fan since im 11 years old, now i'm 61!! And still play his pieces on piano! I've been aware of this cello sonata for quiet many years, but never listened to it in its entirety. What a THRILL to discover NEW Debussy!! AMAZING PERFORMANCE!! Thank you!! 🎼🎵🎹🎻🌹😍

Far and away my favorite Debussy piece. That rising scale in the Finale is worth the world. This is a play-it-at-my-funeral contender.

As in their Britten recital, I feel I am hearing Debussy's genius in this sonata for the first time. To single out just one aspect of a stupendous performance, the pizzicato passages are projected with a resonance that only guitarists achieve. Thank you both.
