I purchased an RZ model about 20 years ago from the sewing machine shop in Kansas city. He demonstrated it by sewing on a wooden yardstick with various stitches. It came with the manual also.

I got one of those Ankers a few years ago to repair my sails. Work great but I have a problem with the part that holds the needle. Some one buggered the hold where the needle goes. I put marine tex epoxy in the hold and redrilled it. It work for a while then I have to do it again. Looking for a new part. Regards Ben

Anker machines are pretty common here in The Netherlands... I see the straight stitch ones a lot...the zig zag less so, but that's the same with Singer..

We have RR model, it was my grandmothers sewing machine and it still works perfect. I only try to find out O ring near right side of machine

Hello. You should be able to find the winder ring. They are fairly common online in black rubber. They are not brand specific so any generic brand will do as long as you ensure to order the right size. Ask the seller you go with to confirm the size and you should find a replacement.

You do great job of restoring. I Have a Singer 107w1 and I am not able to get a straight stitch out of it. It seams as it wants to zigzag no matter what I do. Do you or any of your audience have any advice?

Her presser foot is as tall as Necchi and Vigorelli sewing machines. Interesting that the presser foot is high on these machines.

I have a Union De Luxe sewing machine it does zig zag but I can't figure out how to get it into straight Stitch Can you help

Never mind I figured it out . took the stitch length to zero and it worked
