That Twilight Zone episode is based on it, and in the Hololive context just happens to be what people call Ame so works for Mumei's joke. I absolutely love that the innocent looking 'detective' turned out to be a conspiracy nut gremlin. All five of them have unexpected personalities, if you think about it. Majestic phoenix washes her hair with gravy and isn't afraid to be obscene. Adorable kid has attitude and a lot of emotional maturity. Ina is comfy, and Calli confused JP with her gap-moe.
