Sohi's priorities are unbelievably skewed. I am shocked that he compared Edmonton's downtown to Toronto and Ottawa, when Edmonton's downtown is so unsafe and dirty by comparison. The only comparable downtown to Edmonton's is Winnipeg at this point. He is anti-police and seems to believe that woke policies are going to resolve the public safety crisis in this City. We need the ability to recall our mayor and council.

Just because a conversation or process is "uncomfortable" or "challenging to the status quote" to quote Sohi, it doesn't mean these decisions were brave, necessary or smart. Too often, this council hides behind these phrases to mask the fact they're pandering to a small, but very vocal, group of special interests that do not speak for most Edmontonians. Profoundly disappointed in Sohi, who spends his time reacting to events instead of leading council through them.
