It is sad that these people believe that their rights are superior to Jack Phillips'. Rights are rights- one can respect one's social wishes but they do not have to agree with them. Well, Jesus tells us not to marvel when the World hates us, after all, it first hated Him. These are the situations that confirm that Faith in Jesús is not in vain, it is that Truth of God- prophecy fulfilled, Jesus is definitely coming back. I pray that these who think themselves wise, may consider their ways and repent.

the mental diarrhea swirling the brain bowl of today's society is mind blowing.. while I don't keep my finger on the pulse of today's confusion I catch enough of the verbal feces and verbal waterboarding to know as usual when people are given what they've ask for it is never enough and many people will create to satisfy there innermost victim..

The analogy for the contractor being forced to build something doesn’t equate. If you own a store front business, there are different discrimination laws that apply. That being said I understand what he is saying about not having certain products available for people, but it sounds like it’s just having two different colors as a part of the cake. There is no reason why he couldn’t do this.

I think he would have sold them the cake without knowing a story. Telling him a story that goes against his beliefs and demanding for him to support by creating a cake is pure harassment.

What you are missing out is simple, for Him and for us Christians, God's law trounces any laws of men- after all God is the Creator of men. The question of faith is not a text book issue, it is simply Faith. You believe or you do not and that too should be respected- anything contrary to that is discrimination also.

Also Romans 1: 32Although they know God's righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them. God warns Christians against approving sin, so asking Jack to bake the cake is asking Him to disobey God.
