Nice drone footage with soft music. Laura talked you into entering the mine, i don't think so. Women lead men to do things that they would not normally do. She showed you, you did the rest. My wife bought a wind mill, 10 feet tall, to assemble, it took some time, it had me babbled at one point but it fell into place by accident, ha ha, it took better than 2 hours to complete. That is a cluster mess, sketchy, i could think of other words that would not be appropriate. Wow, short journey, all that ore must have come from the winzes and stopes. It must have taken more time to get out than it took to get in, not disappointed. Wonderful but too short. Not like the other mines.

Hey, Gly! So sorry about ol Bob. Will be able to help more when I get back from my son's wedding in Colorado. I absolutely cant get over your going in the scariest rottenest mine yet! I wouldn't have made it past the entrance, scared of snakes! I liked seeing the different minerals, though. My daughter will help me with navigating ebay. I liked seeing and appreciated the rxplanation of the scraper thing. How did they get it back in the mine? Carried it? How did yhey keep it from taking out the support posts as it scraped by? Maybe these are stupid questions! Thanks for explaining about how those beautiful rox were created! Love the colors. Hope u do well on your bids! Really loved the drone footage on this mine also. It was so cool to see an intact tram system. Hope Laura comes back real soon! So glad you have a buddy!

Gly we, in our younger years did a lot of mining, now being 80 + we just enjoy watching your all your videos. All our mining was placer so we aren't familiar with hard rock mining, we see you point out accumulators and wonder what they are and what they were used for, could you please explain them to us. We are very sorry to hear about "old bob" and the expense WOW that is very costly, we have been glad to donate before and are most assuredly going to do so again. Thank you for the mining ventures.

That section of the mine may have been older than the 40's. I couldn't see any victaulic couplings on the old air and water lines. Victaulic revolutionized pipefitting in mines in the 1920's.

Was at that mine in 1990 you could just walk into that mine and there was a lower adit. The mine than had easy access no more that adit has totally changed for the worse. The road to mine is also much worse you could drive right up too it. Amazing what thirty some years will do. The mine is hardly recognizable from when I was there.

The tanks you are inconthing is for air tanks to separate the water in the air . The change in temperature creates water in the air . Are mine was over 100 years old miles and miles of drifts. And one mile down . In Canada Ontario Timmins .

Probably last time this mine is documented. Really sketchy and Probably won't last much longer! Thank goodness you were able to do it. Is this the same Belmont that ran the silver mine at Cero Gordo?

Quite the skinny crawl to get into that mine, definitely a lot of the back has dropped and so glad none of it dropped while you both were in there. Well Gly, I can honestly say, You've been somewhere in my state - above ground - that I've never been. I've been as far as the Belmont Mill, but not beyond it. Keep in mind, you're in the W**** ***E mountains, which is both high elevation, and WET. I never heard from Laura so I don't know if she was part of Washoe County or not. They had a 'company picnic' for current and retired deputies a couple weeks ago. I looked, but didn't see her there. (It's disheartening when you walk around and neither recognize nor recall any of the faces). Then I have to remind myself, I've been retired longer than I worked there. Stay smart... stay safe... and on to the next one!!
