Is it possible to make Trim cut friends with the Mirror modifier?

@@MACHIN3 I meant the situation when a Mirror Modifier is added to the Trim Decal in order to get two or four from one Decal. If you then use Trim Cut then Mirror is ignored. Is it possible to get around this limitation?

I see. Well, not easily. Unless you use MESHmachine, then you can just run Real Mirror, followed by TrimCut.

@@MACHIN3 Thanks for the answer. But I don't have MESHmachine. Fortunately, I managed to find a way to solve the problem with the available means. If, after applying the Mirror modifier, divide the resulting object into separate parts with the P button, then Trim Cut works as it should. Perhaps it will be possible to automate this in the next versions of DECALmachine?

This won't work correctly, unless the decal origins for the mirror instances are also adjusted. - which is exactly what the RealMirror tool in MESHmachine does. I won't be duplicating this tool in DECALmachine, but you can do it manually in the Cursor/Origin pie of MACHIN3tools too.
