22:10 I had a 1957 Ford Skyliner Retractable Hardtop with a 390 Ford 4 Speed Manual (that came out of a early 60's Ford Galaxie 500) White in color, when I was a Sophomore - Senior in High School, 1971-73 , kept it for 15 years and sold it in 1985. The 57 Skyliner was the best looking year compared to the 58 or 59. I generally left the top up because I did not have a garage and was concerned that the top could get stuck in the down or mid way position.

I see you try to avoid faces a lot but you got a good pic of the wife and I last year at Pate. Thanks, we thought it was great that we had a record of the event with us in it. Thanks for doing these as well. I did now know about this event but can see I certainly would have purchased some items. The Pate date change for 2020 means we will not be able to attend so sorry we missed this one.

Lots of nice projects if you have the space and bux, good to see this meet is still going strong. Haven't been up there in years! One time I was there right after it snowed most of the night. Drove up from Houston, 6 hours, it was seriously muddy that morning! Bought a Chevy aluminum intake, and it was getting heavy by the time I got back to the car. Through knee deep mud before I got there!

Quite a few years back I walked Decatur swap meet with a friend. I snagged a few decent bargins back then.. 65 GTO Carter AFB, Couple of later Pontiac Q-jets. and suprisingly from people that were clueless End carbs for a Pontiac Tri Power. My friend got a few Oldsmobile goodies also.. Headed home with a full car... When you know the proper # on carbs it pays off... The buckets were rare 15 years ago . Came in GM A bodys like the Lemans and Buicks and Olds. Nice to have when you have issues getting out of a car.

Post top 1972 GTO are rare. I believe they made 134 of them.
@stephenflowers85164 жыл бұрын
That "GTO" Didn't have 1 GTO emblem anywhere. That tells me at best it was a 72 T37 which is rare too. But I'd bet that's a tempest with a goat hood. In 72 they had so many left over GTO parts Pontiac was literally putting GTO hoods and the fenders with the heat extractors on station wagons.
@MidnightinSavannah4 жыл бұрын
@@stephenflowers8516 Earlier when I looked a saw that it said 400 4bbl but now that I looked at the paper posted in the drivers window it was a 400 4bbl with single exhaust so it's probably a Lemans with the T-41 option. Their wasn't a T-37 in 1972 but a Lemans, lemans sport. luxury lemans and GTO.

I put GHG "Autofrost" R12 alternative in my Delta 88 back in the day, worked fine. I think the big GM cars with bigger condensers swap to R134A pretty well.
