Rural Kiambu is super beautiful. The roads are well done, only the county government seems to be failing as far as waste management is concerned. Good work Village to Town I have sent a small token of appreciation and to support the course.

Having grown up in Nairobi with its strip malls and convenience stores, it's interesting to see rural shopping centers and a man parking his motorcycle right in the middle of the street.

Those roads were built by Arthur Magugu in the 1930s when he was the finance minister and the MP for the area, He also was the "owned" of Thome estate which he sold to the residents in Kigumo and Kibichoi, Thats why almost all Thome residents come from that area of Kibichoi and Kigumo,

On your right At 13:36 the market is gone, kigumo town there was an open-air market. Kigumo never developed, kind of sad.

@@magicmind6458 The market was in the spacious in centre of the town and now it looks like no plan the town is been forgotten. Lively market it was and looking to the future of the small town. A town with a primary school a high school for girls a hospital which it wasn’t a small hospital a decent one for small town.

This is what happens when the main source of income runs out of business. Coffee production was the mainstay here but it died due to competition.
