We are fly fishing at Montauk State Park in December. Its the best time to catch a bunch of great trout. It's catch and release, but a huge amount of fun. #montaukstatepark #winterflyfishing #callaweginflyfishing

Thanks for taking the time and effort to put these videos together. We’re of the same “vintage” and the banter with your brother reminds me of my relationship with my brothers. In fact your laughs sound a lot like ours. Keep it up!

What fly did you use?

Mostly a size 16 parachute Adams. I also had some luck on a mosquito.

Did you weight that fly or was you fishing it dry and on top. I've been to Montauk zillion of times, have no luck fly fishing, end up with my spinning reel at the other end of the park. Any help greatly appreciated. Nice video thanks for taking the time to post.

Jerry, I use dry flies about 95% of the time. Try a size 16 Adams or Caddis in the park. If they don't work, go to a size 18 or 20 Griffith gnat.
