Next year I'm starting a new account with $40 each fortnight to go into an account for everyone's birthdays and Christmas pressies. We also have one set up that the 5 of us put in $5 a week for going out for birthday dinners as we always go to the same place and the bill is a similar amount each month 😊 I'm really hoping to be way stricter on my spendings next year and save as much as possible. Optimistically I'd love to be a home owner in the next 6 years, but at the moment as a single gal I have alot of work to do 😅

I think the best way to do it for Christmas is brainstorm who you're buying presents for, designate a certain amount and put that money aside! I'm not a sinking fund kind of person but we designated $500 for presents for everyone (besides buying for each other Matt/Carter)

I think that you have a very reasonable Christmas Present Budget.. I spend similar. We don't go crazy (Mainly because no one has many gift ideas for 4 adults 😂) But i know people that spend $5,000 per child/adult on gifts. Each to their own, of course BUT😱 😂
