This is specifically about the question around Honda amaze it would be great if can correct my course The probable buyer of Honda Amaze are customers who want strictly want sedan but are not comfortable with having Suzuki logo, customer who have been generational Honda customer and now want a smaller honda that too sedan and customer who want sedan with CVT. The problem is that genuinely those customers are in very limited number and are declining, the reason is pretty simple that majorly customer who are buying car of budget 13L on road are mostly from tier 2 cities and below where the road infra are not good and customer of such cities want their car look big (though there is no logic why they want that) , so amaze does not fit this bill. I cannot understand why Honda is so adamant to put amaze still on their India's portfolio. In my opinion they can let go amaze and introduce city Hatchback, this will atleast bring volumes for them and bring city Hatchback with strong hybrid tech though it will cost somewhere 16L but atleast being smaller car they enjoy sub 4meter taxations. They should also introduce WR-V, this also a product they can get it from thailand market, the Thailand market's WRV is 4006mm and I guess they can redesign WRV in sub 4 metre that that too with strong Hybrid. Also they should introduce stripped out version of City Hatchback, WRV, CITY sedan, Elevate with just Strong hybrid that might work very well in India. Imagine getting sub 4metre hondas with striong hybrid in under 16L on road.

Above 15 lacs people just close their eyes and pick creta and grand vitara. Nobody in their sane mind would ever buy 16 lacs hatchback from honda. Yes , a 16-18 lacs strong hybrid elevate would be an ice breaker from honda.

While suggesting a City Hatcback (currently availble in Thailand market) for 16L I kept in my mind that Baleno's Top CVT variant cost's around 11.5L and on other hand i20 top variant CVT costs around 14L, so a fully spec city Hatchback with Hybrid tech can reasonably cost 16L, though a stripped variant of hatchback with only hybrid might cost a little less

Our market is not mature enough to buy 16L hatchback even if it is a strong hybrid. That's why i said a strong hybrid elevate in 16L starting price would be a better choice if Honda wants sales. Cuz by doing this they tick three major boxes which is appearance , mileage and ground clearance.

Brother request you to make an addendum video to the one u made on dsg maintenance . The 2 key topics I can think of are: 1) how to drive in stop n go city crawl traffic. I have heard that crawling without accelerator input doesn't engage the clutch... Also that when the car goes to D2 and slows again, the gb doesn't come back from 2 and slips instead, and this damages the gb. I have heard that it's advisable to drive in M1 in such a situation 2) gear box and mechatronic oil change. I understand VW says it's for lifetime but have heard that it should be done at 60k-100k kms, especially given that the box of gb/ mechatronic apparently states life of 3/5 years. Need to know if it needs to be done, how, from where and how to ensure warranty . A video on this topic with Manish ji will be very interesting and helpful as well

Paaji, recently checked the cost of service for Tsi 1.0 AT for 4 years.i dont have the service pack and I know you haven't got the service pack as well but by my observation the 4th yr cost is 20-21k (main cost of AT oil), so 6-7k for the first three years and 21k for the 4th year would come out to 41-42k. The service pack which comes for 28K seems like a reasonable choice for the common man ( torque converter gearbox throughout the line-up). I think this is something you should mention to people planning to kylaq or even slavia kushaq and their VW twins

I’m not a fan of sunroof and electric seat adjustment so overall signature+ comes somewhat close to my choice. But rear wiper only in top model. A small thing is taking the deal away from me.
