Something else to remember…The sound level doubles for every 3 decibels. Distance also plays a role. I have been in occupational safety for 20 years and NOBODY talks about the 1 time 140 dB exposure being “safe.” What we use is an 8-hour time weighted average- and that number is 85-90…the idea being that 85-90 is still loud enough to cause damage all day. While valuable, this video makes it seem like 140 dB is the level that you need to be concerned about hearing damage- there is a lot at play, so do your own research.

No caliber data, no unsuppressed noise comparison, no useful data at all. This is a commercial for a product they're obviously not that proud to make/sell.
