What this series shows, especially with the winger playing at RB, is that some sort of deeper instructions for when you holiday forward/let your assistant control matches badly needs to be added. We already have a squad planner where we can designate our starters and 2nd/3rd choices, just let the assistant use that when picking the team. Then some smaller settings like "only play players if they're above 60/70/80% fitness", and finally "player A should play 70% of the minutes, player B 30%" to get some rotation going and keep players from being unhappy.

Im glad this got extended but it has become clearer every episode that Luke made a massive mistake ignoring City when they were in the Europa league and he needed the FA cup early on... Big jobs come in all the time but City in the Europa doesnt. Glad Luke didnt win this years ago though, loving the series

Regen fullbacks in FM are consistently shite, SI seem to consider them too overpowered if they're good at crossing and/or dribbling so it feels like attacking full backs basically die out once the real players start to retire.

Huge problem with FM for so many years producing any sort of quality fullbacks or defensive midfielders. Most fullbacks have less than 12 crossing and dribbling and barely any CMs have more than 10 tackling

You should do a FC Schalke 04 rebuild. They got relegated to the second tier in Germany Last year are on the Edge to even get relegated to the third tier now. Its one of the biggest Clubs in Germany in which the Likes of Raul played in endstage of His career or Players Like Özil, Neuer or Sane came Out of their youth Academy. 😁 Greetings from Germany.
