I hold a personal grudge against Schmietta. Her name is supposed to be based off of German, but the "ie" in German signifies a longer-lasting syllable (simmilar to "see" for example), but the double t right after it dictates it should be short, so I sat there for a week trying to figure out how to pronounce her name because I get hung up on small things like this, which made me extremely grumpy for some reason.

Unfortunately, Darkfluid does NOT count Links for its counters. It only checks to see if you have one each of a Cyberse Ritual, Fusion, Xyz, and Synchro for a max total of 4 counters and since the gameplan was to make it only using Diplexer Chimera and Firewall Exceed Dragon plus the other materials, it would, in fact, only have 2 counters (Fusion and Xyz)

I'll suggest again that the finale should involve everyone building a custom Duelist Pack on the opener (making sure all monsters are summonables in-pack and that each pack has at-least 1 card that destroy monsters and 1 card that destroys backrow) and then everybody pulls from the OTHER 4 packs to build their decks! I dunno the quantity (10-15 packs of each?) but I think it would be funny! Especially if Gavin fills his pack with stalling bullshit :p

Engage is literally better than pot of greed, I really wonder if the designers of this archetype thought the restriction of not having a monster in the main monster zone was enough to make it fair.

Honestly, the archetype in general locks you out of playing anything else. so, as a result, engage is there to buff all other sky striker cards, since they are always 1 good battle phase away from losing control. You just need to cut them off their links which is doable with 2 1600 atk monsters and 1 negate. Or 3 1600 atk monsters. Or if you have non-destruction removal, it also cuts them off their links. And once you cut them off their links, or if they fail to draw into Avarice, they can run out of gas. Its a good deck, but the main drawback of engage is that to use it to any degree, you need to run a sky striker deck.

@@alisethera9349 Raye returns to the field if one of your sky strikers is destroyed, and can as a quick effect tag into one of your other strikers. Yellow can stop an attack and thus can protect the loop. Kagari(red) can recover engage(or hornet drones) which can restart the loop next turn. Non-destruction removal can stop Raye from returning, thus breaking the cycle of link monsters. And without their links, sky striker gets in a hard spot.
