That would be awesome! I have a question for you. How do you see Outsiders to improve Lexi? I think that there are many new cards that can bring Lexi to S Tier, and I'm very hyped with the new Legendary Trench. Do you have have some ideas to experiment with the new cards?
@digl8159 Жыл бұрын
@@CarlosRoigBCN The quivers are obviously awesome. I'm going to have to experiment with Trench, I think Tunic is still going to be our main chest - tucking a card is expensive. Not so many new arrows I'm interested in, but there's a lot of playing to be done with the Codices. I think the core of the deck will stay the same, though. "S-tier" status is highly meta dependent. I think it'd be pretty easy for most heroes to tech against Lexi if she became dominant, so I think she might cap out at "A-tier".

Question about the Briar 64. Wouldn't you get more or less the same benefit against fatigue by playing 61 if the 1 is your Remembrance? Asked that before getting to the end. Maybe the answer is ratios?

Hello Digl! I am a new player, I am a big fan! love your videos! I am currently running Ice lexi. Is there a blitz deck list you would recommend?
@digl8159 Жыл бұрын
Hey, thanks! Honestly I haven't played much blitz, but from what I've learned: - If you're not playing at the highest level, a slimmed-down version of this list will do fine! - If you want to be competitive, Lexi is going to be rough. There's too much armour to work through before her on-hits are threatening, and you'll be forced to block (eek) before you get there :( I'm sure you could have a lot of fun with Death Dealer + Weave Ice + Shock Charmers - just try to dominate a single big arrow and shock it a bunch for disruption. Might work? Might be a bad Azalea impression!

Thank you for making this very different video in terms of vibe and attitude - very refreshing! For a while I have been trying to make Snatch work to have a wonderful turn ender when they think my 2 Voltaire shots are done. Do you see any hope its more than jank?
@digl8159 Жыл бұрын
TLDR; Jank. Save it for if we ever get Ball Lightning back. Long answer: You're totally able to run Snatch, but make sure you can answer... why? Snatch is either part of your core gameplan, or it's tech for a hard matchup. Which is it? I think it's a great tempo card, but our disruption gameplan already does very well into matchups where we're playing for tempo. In ice Lexi, Snatch falls into this spicy "non-ice/arrow/blue" category - which is pretty hotly contested: 3oak, RR, AoW, Conc... When you add cards in that slot, you reduce one facet of the core disruption gameplan: blues (- consistency, - shock charmers power), arrows (- consistency, -3oak power), or ice (-disruption). There are a whole bunch of fun cards that are competing for that slot. I chose Lightning Surge + RR + 1xAoW to enable spike turns against guardian (+ 1 Rem to combat fatgiue). Note that none of these cards make it into my 60 card deck: this is a sign that we don't need any extra spice to win those matchups - we just need to do our "normal" more consistently.
@AVAUTV Жыл бұрын
@@digl8159 So kind of you to answer! I figured it would be jank, I simply love to surprise my opponents by bringing something individual. ^^

Another question i have is on your matchup sheet on iyslander: About activating voltaire and being able to shoot it because of priority Do you mean at the start of my turn i should load my arrow and they can only respond when the arrow is already attacking ?
@digl8159 Жыл бұрын
So Voltaire against Iyslander looks like this: 1. Declare you're using Voltaire and pay for it. They DON'T get to see the arrow, nor do you have to declare which mode you're choosing. They can respond here. 2. When Voltaire resolves, choose your arrow and your mode. You now have priority again, so you can shoot it before they have a chance to respond (but they may have already responded to give you a frostbite). So it's generally not super useful. The best trick (which I mentioned in the guide) is using Voltaire in response to a CLF. For example: 1. You flip ice with Lexi 2. They respond with CLF to avoid paying for the frostbite. 3. You respond to the CLF by using Voltaire, meaning you avoid the CLF tax for your Voltaire activation. You'll still have to pay the tax when you shoot the arrow.

i'm poor, some ideas to make this deck more budget but funccional?
@digl8159 Жыл бұрын
Honestly it's going to be tough without a New Horizon. If you can get hold of some Shock Charmers, I'd recommend a Death Dealer list that focuses on pumping/dominating a single arrow every turn and threatening a bunch of Shocks activations. If you can't get hold of Shocks (also not a cheap card!)... unfortunately I'm out of ideas! Been meaning to try some budget decks, I'll be sure to post something if I come up with anything cool.

@likemeliodas3431 Жыл бұрын
but one question is still in my mind - why dont u run Enlightened Strike in your Deck?
@digl8159 Жыл бұрын
Ahhh like e-strike is a famous and powerful card and everything, but it just doesn't work here. Tucking a card is very expensive cost. It's not an arrow so it can brick our 3oak turns. It's not an ice card so offers no disruption. Same goes for lot of generic "good stuff" cards. We should include them because they work for our gameplan, not just because they're "good".
@likemeliodas3431 Жыл бұрын
@@digl8159 I understand the idea - thats why Art of War is in the deck :) - thanks a lot mate (ordered the complete main deck besides Rain Razor and Art of War) Do u have any equipments choices besides the premium equipments used? My problem is that I want to learn the deck and never played ranger before so I struggle to buy shock charmers and new horizon ( i understand that both equipments are absolute relevant to use). Do you have any other choices, which are weaker but doable for the start ?
@digl8159 Жыл бұрын
@@likemeliodas3431 It's tricky, like I mention in the video I think Lexi is pretty much designed around New Horizon. You can still try the ice Lexi style though: Shockies can be swapped for Bullseye, I'd probably run Snapdragons alongside them too. If you're going to run without one, I'd do something like: - Run Honing Hood - Take out Winter's Grasp, put in Polar Blasts - Take out Icy Encounter, put in yellow Winter's Bite Basically you aren't able to put the ice attacks in arsenal, otherwise you'll stuff your whole turn because they don't have Go Again 😅 a classic ranger issue, you'll see what I mean.
