At the 5:23 minute mark with the TREX RainEscape deck...once the upper deck is sealed, where does the water go from the gutter system? Also, what type of decking material (composite? pvc?) is used in that same house installation? Or what decking is recommended. Thanks in advance for your help.

We have the down spouts integrated into the Columns. I use mostly composite decline but it is really mostly a personal decision. I hope this helps? Have a great day

We are almost finished with our backyard living space, the final piece is the water flow off the uncovered deck above the kitchen. Several attempts have been made to waterproof using DIY under decking. Need advice on how to waterproof and where to run the gutters. Unfortunately, the design was not done ahead of time and now we're scrambling (we did hire a contractor, but here we are...)

How do you get the lighting in the brick footing for the deck posts? I like the beefier wood post designs with stone/brick wrap. Any opinion on those?

6:00 min mark. Looks like they overlapped the membrane incorrectly. The upper piece should be over the top of bottom section. Like shingles.

Incorrect, if you follow the video you will realize that all water runs off into cutter system.
