Today, we're going to be taking a look at a possible deck profile for our favorite Slifer Slack, Jaden Yuki, focusing on modern support his his Neo-Spacian Cards.

Hey All, I'm seeing the comments about card count. There are some editing mistakes in this video that resulted in some cards being cut out. The main deck was supposed to include the cards Space Gift and Common Soul. I didn't catch that my editor left that part of the recording out. I'm working with a new team to try to get these videos out a little bit faster and there have been some hiccups. I'm talking with the team to ensure that kind of mistake doesn't happen going forward. But if you had to add two more cards to this deck profile, what would YOU add in?

I would add in a copy of Parralel World Fusion (use the banished Hero cards if Shining isn't played/enough) along with maybe another Super Polymerization (or regular Polymerization).

I know the Neo Spacian monsters get alot of flack for being underpowered, but Dark Panther has a special place in my heart. Once, I used it against an npc opponent in a video game who had Hot Red Dragon Archfiend on the field. I threw down Panther onto the field and copied its own effect to destroy his own dragon.

Well they are out dated cards for the most part. But dolphin and neos dolphin are still powerful effects. Just like mole and panther. I'd say he'd cut elemental flash cause it's not that useful. Plus the masked heros are great so I'd of liked to think he'd of had bark law and acid mixed in.

This is something I see Jaden making after season 4 where like Yusei he has two separate decks based on specific strategies and dueling styles which can have his opponents guessing which deck he'd use

I don’t think he had 2 separate decks for specific strategy’s they were for ground duels and riding duels one of the decks had speed spells which he can’t use if he isn’t turbo dueling

Well we never really get to see the characters deck only some cards here and there. And with Jaden and zane it's seems like they had a twenty card deck in the anime and it was slowly bumped up to forty as they added new cards to the deck. And then the mystery of how many extra deck monster they are allowed seems infinity cause no matter what Jaden always had hero for the situation. So yah I wouldn't pour to much thought into it. Decks are never as consistent as the anime always shows maybe some of them like black wings, inferiority or pendulums.

@@ZoneHeart00 you do realize the slifer dorm was for the novice duelist so of course they'd be playing forty card decks. But the pro like Zane it's more like twenty cards for him. I mean how else does he draw a cyber dragon every duel(and I know this is anime so duh). It's Not possible with more than twenty and considering the life points are only 4000 you know the decks have to be small for short games.

This is a great deck. The only disappointing thing about it is something that's completely out of our control: Konami never has (and probably never will) finished creating the neo-spacian NEX Evolutions. Sure, Marine Dolphin and Twinkle Moss sucked, but they could make much better evolutions nowadays. I'd honestly love to see evolutions of Flare Scarab, Grand Mole, Air Hummingbird, and Dark Panther, and Neos Fusions to go with them, as well as a Twinkle Neos.

Jaden is my favorite yugioh protag and when I was a kid made hero decks ! I’m an adult now and thanks to duel links and master duel I can relive my childhood !

I love this, and I kinda see Jaden using super poly for the omni heroes to pretty much make them more efficient but this is for the most part what I'd expect our boy to wield but I would add in EN shuffle into his deck to complete the EN line of cards cuz it feels like they would combine with Jaden's Heroes to perfectly complement both his Hero side and his Neos side. Can't wait to see Yusei's deck.

This feels like a good Upgrade for Jadens Deck, the only card missing in my oppinion is EN Shuffle. It is a really nice brigde between the Heroes that aren`t Neos and the Spacians.

Fun fact! Escuridao is a Portuguese word! It means "gloomy" or like, "in a state of darkness" I'm not gonna complain about other languages in YGO, but I would have absolutely loved to play "Elemental Hero Gloom" as a kid

I’m personally resistant to anime Jaden/Judai using cards from his manga counterpart such as stratos and shadowmist (Especially the latter since shadow mist directly references masked heroes in her card text) though the manga fusions would allow Jaden/Judai to use super poly more frequently. Then again, seeing as how important super poly is to GX’s story it would feel somehow wrong to have the card played too casually. I’d probably opt for having the original vanilla heroes as part of the main deck along with stuff like blaze man to improve consistency. Realistically if Any of the protagonists from prior shows made a real appearance in a modern show the decks would almost certainly receive a bit of tuning and a whole bunch of new additions, It would still be neet to see some of the cards that have been released in the interim be included though.

Actually built the deck and the deck seemed to be two cards short in the main deck. I just threw in Contact Gate and EN Shuffle to fill in the missing slots.

Pretty good deck list, but there are 7 other cards i would've added. Favorite hero, Skydive Scorcher, Skyscraper, Protection of the elements, elemental hero ocean, elemental hero woodsman, and elemental hero Terra Firma. Favorite hero is an equip spell that can activate any field spell from the deck, adds the equipped monster's defense to their attack while you control a field spell, and can destroy itself to give the equipped monster an extra attack. For a neos deck, this is a must have card because it allows them to activate neospace from the deck giving them even more attack points and allowing them to stay on the field longer. Skydive Scorcher is a spell that allows you to target an elemental hero fusion monster you control and destroy every monster your opponent controls that has higher attack points then inflicts burn damage equal to the monster with the highest attack mong those destroyed monsters. But if you have skyscraper on the field then it does burn damage equal to the combined attack total of all those destroyed monsters. Protection of the elements is a trap card and it's basically an archetype omninegate that can be activated by banishing an elemental hero you control. And if you control elemental hero terra firma you can banish it from the gy to bring back that banished monster. And as a sidenote, it is searchable by spirit of neos. And woodsman and ocean are the fusion materials for Terra Firma which unfortunately can't be cheated out by instant contact due to being a level 8.

To be fair, I've liked Jaden/Judai more as a character than Yusei, Yusei technically "lost" once, while Judai lost a few times, the latter seems more plausible, and Judai becoming depressed in the conditions was in due to how he grew up, very realistic, comparatively as well, Yusei, logically shouldn't have been found alive in the first place, he's the embodiment of anime BS in the YuGiOh world... Even though 5Ds originally had better story, it kind of was strange considering it had far more potential, though GX later on, showed much potential, though later it quickly fizzled out. GX feels more like how things can escalate without explanation while 5Ds feels like everything is planned out ahead and everything as a result, 100% goes as planned.

i'm wondering why he didnt have Rainbow Neos as a part of the ED. he said the reason he put shining in the ED is cause he put the other 2 Neos fusions in the side. buts Rainbow Neos is still a neos fusion. guess sense he cant have Rainbow dragon it makes sense but still i imagine he keeps it around as a keepsake and just incase he ever sees Jessie Again so they can tag duel

Hey, not sure if this has been pointed out yer, just did a recreation of the deck and the main deck only gets to 38. You have 20 monsters, 16 spells and 2 traps. I would say add a second Super Polymerization (it has a limit of two) or third regular Polymerization and a Parallel World Fusion (another card to work off Flash's effect) spell in to reach the limit.

A suggestion for these video formats would be to include a full deck profile at the end. It would be nice to view a complete deck list. Also, shouldn't the deck include Neos Wiseman if you have Kluger?

The reason Kluger even exists is because they made Wiseman a main deck monster when printing it for the actual game. In the anime Wiseman is a fusion monster. So he's probably just using kluger as a place holder for anime wiseman.

Didn't see any Honest Neos. Honest was a big plot point of season 4 and Jaden even activated Honest in combination with Neos. Honest Neos was said to be in his deck during the live VA duel between Jaden and Aster earlier this year, which is similar to his anime counter-part. He also used Favorite Hero in that duel, which I could see Jaden using. As well as Generation Next. No Clayman? Shining Flare Wingman (his other Ace card before Neos). Also there is a new hero monster coming called Wake Up Your Elemental Hero, which I could see Jaden using. Not sure if this is a competitive build or for fun build. If it's for fun, Clayman would be added. If competitive, the ratios are off and some cards wouldn't be used. Good deck profile though, Jaden Yuki is my favorite anime character ever.

I'm pretty sure that he would still use the same OG cards he used at the end of S4 with the difference being that he would combine anime exclusive cards + manga cards + all the cards he used in all seasons for the ultimate HERO/Neos deck. That's IMO what he would use to battle other protagonists.

Honest Neos, Yubel... and Neos Wiseman (if you run Kluger you add Wiseman already) another great card he already has and wouldnt drop is Prisma, then there should be at least 1 Extra HERO also, Kluger and Wiseman effect dont need destruction, they just do burn damage, like all upgraded Yubel cards if I were to give Yubel a special upgrade, it would be Yubel Spirit, where it would act similar to Neos Spirit for special summon itself but summon itself in defense position, cannot be destroyed by battle and while in DEF its unaffected by card effects, in Attack same as normal with added can only attack this card, if Special summoned itself return to the deck at during your end phase, and to give it more synergy, its allways treated as a HERO also, on Neo Specians, I feel after so many years, Judai (yes I call him by japanese name) would most likely found a way to upgrade the Neo Spacians base forms without needing NEX, I feel something with stronger effects of current ones to keep with meta, cause some of these effects arent really worth it, some will simply bee their NEX form effects *cough* Glow Moss *cough*, this would be the effects I think could be Flare Scarab - 200 ATK/DEF for all spell and traps on the field Aqua Dolphin - Disrcard 1 card to look at the oponent hand and send from their hand the same type of card to the GY as the discarded card Air Hummingbird - Gain 500 by the Difference of hand size (in OCG and Master duel with Maxx "C"...) Dark Panther - Non Target Steal effect of opponent field or GY Glow Moss - Owner Draw peer battle, same effects Grand Mole - same, but if effect succeds you can normal summon again in Main Phase 2

Yeah that would be cool especially considering masked Heroes are a way better secondary archetype then neo spacians gameplay wise aesthetics wises is of course to the eye of the beholder but the fact that they are based of Kamen rider definitely makes them pretty cool but let's get back to what makes masked Heroes better than neo spacians masked Heroes only need one monster on the field for you to be able to summon them and it doesn't even have to be an elemental hero if you have a mask change 2 unlike neo spacians which needs Two or three monsters on the field and they need to be specific monsters which makes it harder to summon in one turn which usually means you'll have to wait one turn before you can get the chance to Summon your fusion Monster on top of the fact that you need to tribute summon to get elemental HERO neos tho granted elemental HERO neos alias miracle contact instant contact and neos fusion does help with that problem but even with that masked heroes are still easier to summon

@@ryancraig110 Kamen Rider is awesome, can’t go wrong with that especially since they’re the inspiration for the Masked Heroes. But the Neo Spacians are awesome too. I have a few decks just because I like them all and can’t decide tbh. One fun deck with the “anime” effect of one card only based off GX Season 4, another fun deck of Neo Spacians with a little E-Hero support, and the last one being a more serious deck of just pure E-Hero. Well as serious as I can make it with the cards I have at the moment

I know that was a stupid choice to nerf it when it would make sense if you want this card to still attack twice jusy make it attack two monsters on the field and still do damage, while preventing direct attacks. Like seriously they act like nothing would be able to get through Neos Knight in the actual game

It is absolutely criminal that HERO and Neo-Spacian Synchro, Xyz, and Pendulum Monsters just do not exist at all. On top of that, there are no Neo-Spacian Link Monsters, even though HERO Link Monsters do exist. *These cards need to be made, Konami!!*
