Tube Sox LMFAO!!! I can't remember the guys name right now, but the guy that played Tommy Wiseau's best friend in the room, the guy who was banging Tommy's girlfriend, wrote a movie. It stars him and Tommy Wiseau again, and is called "Best F(R)iends" and is coming out sometime in 2017. There's a trailer out and it looks like it's gonna be just as epicly terrible as the Room. There's also a movie that James Franco made about the room, I think it's called "The Disaster Artist". It looks fucking incredible, lol. It stars James Franco as Tommy Wiseau and Dave Franco as the guy who was Tommy Wiseau's best friend. It also stars a couple other big name actors, but the only one I can think of right now is Seth Rogen. OMFG, it looks fucking hilarious. I've seen videos from the set of the movie, and James Franco dressed as Tommy Wiseau looks fucking great with the long hair and the make up job, he looks just like Tommy Wiseau. Dave Franco looks hilarious as the other guy also. I can't wait to actually see it. I'm pretty sure it's called "The Disaster Artist".

Does anyone else think this review is a bit too...yellow? (I don't know if it's done on purpose or not, but wow this yellow filter is hitting me like a punch to the nose.) As for Rocky IV - here's what I will give to it. It has probably the best intro to any of the Rocky Movies - mainly because it's the Climax from Rocky III set to Eye of the Tiger. It definitely has the best montage sound-track of the movies. It does have a unique setting and a larger than life feel to it, what with the whole Cold War Undertones. And, it sort of has Rocky fighting for more than just himself this time - what with Apollo being killed by Drago. What it doesn't have going for it... I feel like they over-sensationalized the "evil" of the Soviet Union - what with the Steroids and the overall Cold Attitude of Drago and the other Soviets. If the overall point of this movie is that, people are just people and shouldn't be enemies, then they really went too far with trying to polarize the audience to one side.

Great review and absolutely spot on in terms of it being a product of its time( i remember TheCinemaTologist calling Rocky IV "Rocky 80s"). If you ever do another "Summer of Sylvester Stallone" here are some suggestions i thought i might throw out there. Cliffhanger( its basically "Die Hard on a Mountain" but still a great Stallone movie; probably one of his best; John Lithgow gives Hans Gruber a run for his money as the villain in this movie). Over The Top( a Stallone action movie about arm wrestling: what more can you say) Lock Up( A Stallone prison movie and one of Stallone's more underrated action movies in my opinion; Fun Fact: They actually filmed it in a real prison) Cop Land( Another example of a movie that shows of Stallone's acting skills and a decent movie overall) Escape Plan( The other Stallone prison movie and the long awaited pairing of Stallone and Schwarzenegger: besides The Expendables movies) Grudge Match( Would be interested to hear your thoughts on the movie that asks "What if we had Rocky face the guy from Raging Bull) Also, i have a question. Since your doing the rest of the Rocky movies, does that mean you'll also review Creed?( which does technically count as a Rocky movie since Rocky is in the movie even if he isn't the star)

The movie was 32 minutes of montages or flashbacks. Stallone said he made Rocky V out of greed and he was lazy making it but it sure as hell seems he didn’t spend too much time writing the script for #4 either and spent more time working out. At least Rocky V had more dialogue and it just seemed like he missed an opportunity with #5. Rocky IV was just an MTV movie. Still love the Rocky franchise though. He really redeemed himself in Rocky Balboa

Sly being a Republican (by 80s standards, not today's), it's understandable that he'd want to make Russia look villainous & use 'roids while his character as a good ol' American who trained (& triumphed!) using exclusively hard work & grit. But it's also quite hypocritical if he was also using 'roids himself at that time as he was caught with them (HgH, I believe) in the mid-2000s. Still, Rocky IV is still one of my favorites.

For Soviet Anthem you were not far wrong. They only sing 1'st half of anthem. Main part and one chorus part that repeats 3 times: Main part: "Союз нерушимый республик свободных Сплотила навеки Великая Русь. Да здравствует созданный волей народов Единый, могучий Советский Союз!" ( Union of unbreakable free republics, joined together by great Russia. Let it live in union by people's will, our great, powerful Soviet union ) And chorus part, that goes like this: "Славься, Отечество наше свободное, Дружбы народов надёжный оплот! Знамя Советское, знамя народное Пусть от победы к победе ведёт!" ( Glory, to our free Motherland, people's union reliable stronghold! Soviet Banner, people's banner On road from victory to victory you lead us. ) ^These are from 1944 version. This are the same lyrics from 1977 version: "Союз нерушимый республик свободных Сплотила навеки Великая Русь. Да здравствует созданный волей народов Единый, могучий Советский Союз!" "Славься, Отечество наше свободное, Дружбы народов надёжный оплот! Партия Ленина - сила народная Нас к торжеству Коммунизма ведёт!" You can see hat the only thing that was changed was last 2 paragraphs. Translation of last 2 paragraphs: ( Party of Lenin - might of the people toward the celebration of Communism lead us! ) The whole point of the change was to shift the importance toward the part rather than to banner ( Soviet Flag, in USSR it was called the red banner ). And there was also the fact that Stalin himself directed 1944 lyrics, and in 1970's Soviet citizens knew what he was doing behind their backs during his reign ( it was all gone into public when Khrushchev said it, right after Stalin's death ). Hope this helped you in understanding better. :) Here's a little extra fact: there was one more version of the anthem - 1943 one. It was used only for one year, and when compared to 1944 version it was one entire part short ( 3 instead of 4 ) and it's final part had different lyrics. P.S - you may see that English translation don't match any you find on either Wikipedia or anthem videos - it is my own and it's more fitting to the actual words. Whoever did the original one didn't do a very good job.
