Those that criticize other’s videos really upset me. It takes a lot of work to creat a video and confidence to put yourself out there like this. Compliments only or move on. I find your voice/accent lovely and your videos inspire me to work on my own home. The declutter is where I struggle most - after that it’s so easy to just clean

When my children were little, they had to learn to respect their televisions too. If their room was a messy disaster, I would "ground" them from their television and video games too. We had strict controls on their internet usage and websites. I started assigning chores when they turned 8, dishes and sweeping/mopping and helping to cook. They grew up just fine, college graduates and hard workers.

You’ll get there with the decluttering and organising. One day can you do a vlog on your indoor plants. My collection has grown to 14 . I love having greenery in our home 🌷🌿. The sunset at 27:30 is gorgeous. Our kids lose the use of technology and other favourite things when they don’t do their chores or misbehave really bad. Consistency is important ~crisis or not ~it gives us all a sense of balance and security by having routines and basic rules that we follow to keep things in order. You are a great mom! Hi I really enjoy watching all your videos. With the amount of dust from your carpets I have the same carpet as you, and my tiny unit gets very dusty I vacuum very regularly but I noticed my Dyson is quite powerful I’m convinced what appears to be dust looking full everytime I vacuum could be the actual carpet particles getting sucked up too .. I vacuum everyday to test it out and I’m convinced it’s pulling out fibres out the carpet every time.. just thought to mention. Best wishes 💕

How exciting for you and your family - massive changes and what a great way to start. I agree with your parenting philosophy. My kids act like their oxygen has been cut off if the WIFI disconnects! lol. I keep asking myself how they got so "entitled".... and then I realise I had to make some changes and they're much more grateful and appreciative of their privilege. Loved this video and love watching your videos. You are a great mom for teaching your boys respect for their things and space. Especially as a single mom, alot of times in those situations parents don't want to be hard on their kids. I have four boys (they are all grown now) when they were little, it was always disaster in their rooms. I had to keep on them constantly to maintain a clean space. Can't wait to see more videos

Your career shift is very exciting! I’ve been a subscriber for quite a while, and I always look forward to your videos. I like the billy bookcases in the hallway - that was a good idea. I like to rearrange the furniture in my house, too - that satisfies my need for “change“ or “improvement“ without having to buy anything new! Great video. Love your home and the view is amazing. My daughter wasn't looking after her things in her room I warned her a couple of times but she didn't listen. So one weekend her room was a tip again and we halved what she had. She wasn't happy but it drilled the message home and now she knows what is expected of her and what will happen if she doesn't look after her things.
