Well I think saying goodbye to 29 lippies is amazing. I love seeing your collection. Can't wait for the Highend! It's a trilogy...lol....50shades of lippies...hehehe....I just organized mine in my new Alex drawer...yup, I said the A word...and I LOVE IT! I can finally see all my makeup in one spot. Now my goal is not to exceed capacity in this unit! Great job purging. I have some smelly guys that need to be ditched too...no room for any Pepe la Pue products! Hope you've been fabulous! Xxxx

I really love those L'Oreal glossy stains, I hadn't used mine either and I pulled them out again and loved them, I have the shades Lilac Ever After and Rose on and on. (Especially the rose shade!) Great job decluttering! I know it will be harder with the other categories but any progress is progress :) I need to do another purge and I am definitely inspired after this video.

The Revlon Lip Butters in Creamsicle and Sugar Frosting are my two FAVORITES and they are both discontinued now!!! So glad you rescued them! lol ;-)

You did great! Maybe consider this round #1 of decluttering your lippies? I went through my lipstick collection about a month and a half ago, but i still think i have too many. I do rotate more often and (try to..) buy less lippies, i'm planning on doing a round #2 decluttering in maybe july/august.

I think decluttering is more about getting rid of things you don't love and don't use rather than just decreasing overall product - I think you are doing a great job with that so far. If you find your lipsticks are still overwhelming, after you do this declutter, do a second round. Separating by brand can help with a first round of eliminations, but it doesn't tell you how many repeat shades you have. If you take all your nudes and swatch side by side, you might find you have over 50 if you combine lipsticks high and low end and crayons...many in the same shades. It might help to show you which brands you reach for when you want a nude lippie (or any shade lippie), and help you make more cuts if at the end you don't feel fully satisfied with how much you have gotten rid of.

that's a great idea!! i am definitely going to do that. i've been letting go of products here and there as i wear them (if i find they don't suit me or i don't like them) but i love the idea of doing a second round of all nudes, reds, etc. i think that will really help me pare down further. thank you very much for your suggestion!

that shouldn't have been there! i left a few brands in my drugstore declutter that are closer to high end. besame for sure... but even julep, starlooks, and lippy girl likely would have fit better in the high end category.

Shout-out to Maybelline Wetshine, what is up 12 year old self? (my mum actually still has some of these from like 2006-7...it's gross but I don't think she cares) Also I wore Alarm to death during a show I did last year. Defs a favourite of mine.
