I never expected to see the Reloaded treatment given to Crime and Punishment, this song had a very sad tone and conclusion on the original and the Reloaded injects the song with a more hopeful view on the whole situation to the third part of the song, it makes it more tragic, despite that, there’s some beauty within it, despite knowing the mistakes made along the way and the conclusion that will inevitably happen you still choose to see only the good parts of it, yet the song ending abruptly with the instrumental part of the song not playing, just makes reality come crushing down on you This is a wonderful reinterpretation of the original and shows how much Deco has grown as an artist since the time made this song, truly amazing!

So not onyl has DECO remade my favorite song of his, he's also done AMAZING changes to it??? The lyrics changing to reflect an entirely different relationship from the original, even if it started similarly, is just incredible. It's gonna take a while to sink in, tho, I was still singing the original lyrics over these LMAO also THE SHINKAI SUMMIT BRIDGEEEEE THE SHINKAI SUMMIT MELODY IN THE BRIDGEEEEEEEE I WILL GIVE ANYTHING DECO PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE SHINKAI SUMMIT RELOADED PLEASE I'M BEGGING having said that, I think the choice to add on to the Summit reference (even if it's not the same from the original, which used kanji read as 'samitto' even if they meant other things or read otherwise instead of straight up katakana) is sooooo interesting like yes girl give us EVERYTHING!!! the instrumental changes do detract a bit from the original feeling of "sterile hospital with rampaging emotions inside", but they give an entirely new feel to the song that makes it feel almost brand new !!! on a personal note, i really needed this pick-me-up and Deco surprise-dropping this absolutely helped!!! much love and encouragement ❤️

@beomkaslana no i know this. that's why i didn't say 'original mv' I just said The One I Was Obsessed With. those were the days haha, where vocaloid songs lived almost exclusively on nicovideo so youtube reuploads would often be reuploads of fan mvs instead of the original videos. I think I must have watched like 5 different MVs for Trick and Treat. Also, after having listened to the entire reloaded version of tsumi to batsu? I am also reminded of how much I love one particular fan MV of Shinkai Summit, an MMD one. There's so much good work out there in the ghosts of reuploads from decades past.....
