Thanks for modeling. If you can assign shell to this dome? is it tricky? i am unable to get it. I believe even for the Beam and Column analysis we must need to assign shell. Plz guide

In etabs its possible to make single part drawing of wave shape plate and get unformed length of plate.

that's great work of modeling, but what's the analysis result, you create dome with "NONE" frame. please share analysis & design portion of model

just apply self weight and wind load and provide fix supports at bottom .

Sir, in this video of yours you didnt assign the dome to any material like slab..etc. Should we assign it as slab or let it be as it is and run the analysis??

Yes you have to select these & assign shell properties for analysis.

Why there was no ring beam under this dome ??

There must be, but the objective of the tutorial is to show how to model Dome, not ring beam.

@@Decodebd can u describe how to model ring beam on main beams because when I draw ring beams it shows the same level of ring beam as that of the main beams...
