You do Frantz Fanon great justice in the making and sharing of this video, Dr. Spearman. I struggle to communicate his thinking to my close friends sometimes, and this is a very helpful resource. In many respects, when we don't talk about violence, or our perceptions of it, we form a crater at the center conversations around liberation, decolonization, and revolution; as in, we are always turned away from it, like it doesn't exists, yet we would not step to far back or turn our backs for one moment. This is very relevant in the case of understanding armed resistance efforts happen all over the world.

Thank you so much! It's always been weird to me that when communities of color are attacked, the very people telling us to respond to non-violently are the first ones to respond violently when THEIR communities are attacked.
