Many claim this book is evil. Most Jews i know are amazing/loving people. I'm fairly certain they don't "abide" by the Talmud. Torah seems conducive to peace. Curious to hear someone argue FOR the Talmud in regards to benevolence and inner peace.

Those that claim that are just completely ignorant and hateful. To begin with, the Talmud is not a book.

@u.y.3643 thank you, can you provide a brief synopsis on the message it conveys. Btw, maya...simulation...duality. Our ego's are impermanent. Our Awareness/Divine Spark is beyond Space/Time. Open minded skepticism always.

I would not call the Talmud evil. And yes most Jews are most assuredly amazing, loving and add to the benefit of all mankind. The Talmud has some of the GREATEST thoughts, insights and illuminations concerning our creator and God that could ever be uttered or penned! I consider it to be a mineshaft of "gems". The problem is the Talmud became more highly respected, valued and revered than the Torah. How can that not prove to be a disastrous mistake!?! And that is where I part ways with those who hold it above heaven itself. For the Orthodox the Talmud IS the "Messiah". They esteem the thoughts of men above haShem and there inlies the "evil". Its the action not the person that is evil. Wrong?

@@rapturebound197again, ignorance. Talmud is the Oral Torah, in written form.
