interesting. I did a paper on Moroccan metal during my study abroad time in 2011.

Definitely check out AVATAR... They have a very diverse way of doing their albums. One of their albums is entirely a story about an owl fighting an eagle to keep the dawn from arriving. All the characters in the songs are fish and wolves and ants and grasshoppers... There's a corresponding picture book of poetry. This coming from a band that had not really done anything like that before, only considered a metal band. Another album after that turned their lead guitar player into an actual King for the entire album in the land of Avatar. Lol they're more recent couple of albums are generally not quite so story themed. And their latest album is exceptionally well written. I've met them on a few occasions and they are such a fun group of people. With great costume changes. 😂
