Can we appreciate the drum track for a moment? What a masterpiece.

@@Theepicgamer20213 The John ones date from around November-December 1966 which was when the song was recorded, and the Paul one was just to showcase him working on the drum part with Ringo, even if the picture is from May 1967.

7:21 I always thought that guitar was a little out of tune. Here I can tell it is. Still works. Maybe better than if in tune.

This was the one I was waiting for - not disappointed - THANKS SO MUCH! John created just an amazing musical/verbal/surreal song that was then crafted into an amazing sound recording by him and his 3 bandmates (not with a little help from) but also with George Martin, the other EMI studio staff and talented musicians on the more traditional and classical instruments. While the focus is always obviously going to be on John's work here, George Martin's contribution really needs to be acknowledged - the suggestions to John, the marrying of 2 seperate recordings, the scoring for the non-rock and roll instruments (that cello part towards the end is from another planet), and I suppose just knocking the whole damn thing into it's final recording - if he should ever be considered for the 5th Beatle, this recording is the DNA. Again RBS - great work!!!

What I find most interesting is how imperfect the individual parts are... the guitar in particular is out of tune and sloppy when solo, but fits perfectly in the full mix. That would never fly today, everything is so perfect and bland. Probably also explains why modern music doesn't compare.

Why do you keep changing the Thumbnail for Strawberry Fields Forever?
@rbstems5 ай бұрын
KZbin has a new thumbnail tester. It tests which thumbnails the public is more likely to click on, that's why you see it change. I've just fixed this one for Strawberry Fields as more people clicked on this thumbnail than the other two I made.
