Ego as a sensory experience is the crucial thing; the profound insight that changes everything.

Thanks very much for sharing your presentation with us Michael. It's brilliant, really helpful to see it all explained with visuals, diagrams etc. THAT's the kind of thing we actually need, to grasp the real core of it. I'm delighted I came across you. Cheers!

Most of the time I clearly see I am not who I THINK I am and that there no I or self.. Yet when I am in certain situations I tend to somehow forget all that .. I retract and become that anxious sweaty person .. Wonder if I would ever get over it .. Hope so ..

Its normal. It happens to me all the time. The character that I'm playing here is so persistent.

@@iamessence6268 the character is not a problem, it has its role to fullfill. By seeing although thath it is a character you are already really in a good place. 98% of our population does unfortunately not see it. So dont be discureged when the "me" is back. It is always just an appearence in you. A beautifull one.

Ego consciousness is ephemeral e·phem·er·al Adjective. transient, transitory, ephemeral, momentary, fugitive, fleeting, evanescent mean lasting or staying only a short time.
@davidcunningham298410 жыл бұрын
wouldn't the ego be not just the thoughts and sensory input, but the meaning that is given or rather chosen to explain all that is perceived? what is constructed and deconstructed would be the meaning given. the meaning/beliefs given actually influence what is perceived. by changing the meaning/beliefs we even change what is subsequently perceived. deconstruction becomes a matter of choosing more useful meanings/beliefs that allow us to connect and interact in ways that free us from the insatiable demands of an immature ego.

A great presentation. I was although looking at your aura the whole time. It is so visible. You see clearly the light energy surrounding his body.

Digital cameras can record a aura then?
@exstazius5 жыл бұрын
@@MrDaithis yes. I recorded this energy on camera. When I meditate there appears a plasma like energy around my hands. If i bring my hands close to each other the plasma (It looks like light energy particles) connect. I see this around everything. Humans, animals and objects. I recorded it on camera and it is clearly present. I showed that to others and they see it too. In this video i see the aura around him. I believe everybody is able to see this with a little bit of meditation

Of course it doesn't. You still try to pay your bills, you just wont be miserable if you can't. You will still try to do it though, doesn't make you ignore the needs of the body, just the needs of an illusory entity living as your thoughts

I was with you until the bit about awareness. awareness is something only a subject can have and, following from what you said, no one is truly a subject. being consciously aware of your ego is like trying to see your own eyes without a mirror (alan watts). but then i wonder, if humans aren't subjects then there is no subjectivity at all. and if there is no subjectivity, objectivity becomes meaningless. g loved this presentation otherwise, keep it up!
@MichaelTaft1087 жыл бұрын
Maybe I wasn't clear about it in the presentation, but let me attempt to be clearer: No ego (or sense of self) is truly a subject, but awareness itself can be.
