Ringo’s drumming swings so heavily, I didn’t even recognize the song. I doubt anyone else has ever played it like this.

Not sure, George sounds like he's playing electric I think (we'll never know) but if you listen to the right side of the stereo mix, you can definitely hear an acoustic guitar in the mix of the A chord right before Lennon's vocals come in. I always thought Rick too but the sound on the album was always too jangly for me to get on an electric so it makes sense if they plugged their J-160e's and had the mics they put in front of their instruments to get that live mix they wanted for the first album.
