I love Christmas. The process of lugging out all of my decorations from our crawlspace is a chore. We also have a cat, so I have the challenge if not having her eat berries or garland pieces too. I find decorating can be overwhelming as well Kay. I have my own decorations, inherited alot of my Moms decorations when she passed away in 2017. However, once up and everything in place I love it. The process of taking from our crawlspace to putting on top of kitchen cabinets, up & down a ladder takes days.Mentally, its mind over matter as they say. Plus I decorate outside. It is a labor of love, but a little effort for my own happiness & our adult kids when they visit always makes my heart happy. I am ultimately a maximal decorator, but working on not having to put out everything at the same time is a work in process. HAHA.. I love the clean look of your selection of candles, wreaths & garland. I can smell your house now, .cookies & candles...nothing better. Thank you Kay for sharing.

For me, the smell of bees wax candles is associated with holidays in my grandmothers house. She always had wax candles, and sometimes we lit them in the evening. Sweet memories. This set of snowman cups is incredible! I need these in my winter collection of cups✨❤

We have a gingerbread kitty house also. My mother in law bought it as a Christmas present for our cat, Mr. Mitchell. He has eaten all the windows out of. It lol.

Beautiful, peaceful video, thanks! I love the kitty gingerbread house. Just a suggestion: I began buying beeswax pellets off of Etsy and making my own candles. I use silicone molds which you can also purchase on Etsy. They are so easy to make using natural cotton wicks. I make them right in my kitchen using a few dollar store cheap pans for melting. This year I had so much fun making them to keep and decorate, as well as giving them away for gifts. I have immune issues so do not buy store bought scented candles. Beeswax chases away moisture and mold and clears the lungs! Looking forward to your next video! 🎄

About removing your rings before cooking, it's such good advice! As much as I love mine, I always take them off before cooking, especially kneading. Unless you wash them with soap and a toothbrush each time before and afterwards, residues of food/dust/etc remain trapped there, together with bacteria and it's a health hasard. I'm always surprised when I see youtubers keep their rings on when cooking and cleaning. Word of advice: when taking off rings, put them in a safe place like a shelf, not where you are cooking, near the vegetable peels and things that will be trashed... I learned the hard way! Your cookies seem delicious! :) I couldn't find the original recipe online, could you please give the link to it?

The amount of baubles from the bottom of the tree that have made their way around the house since we set up the tree 😂 You having to stop the cats eating the garland made me chuckle! It all looks beautiful!

We do the same Kay, decorate before we get the real tree. I love the smell of a real tree and it always reminds me of my childhood. At the moment I'm doing a little bit each day and just ordered some gorgeous cushion covers to refresh my sofa. Loved the vlog as always and look forward to so much more from you. xx

Little advice - don’t be offended. Take your engagement and wedding ring off when kneading dough or baking. No matter how many times you wash your hands debris lurks and more especially is not friendly to your diamond. That said, your cookies look lovely
