I still haven't finished the big live, but I will today. I'm sorry I missed that, I do love to chat. That sink looks amazing, I imagine you bringing in your veggies and rinsing them fir dinner or being able to fit your preserving pots in it too. Houses even down in the snowy places here just aren't insulated properly. Not under the house or in the walks. If we did get a random snow fall here , I really don't know how we'd go. It came close to getting a dusting last year and that was cold enough for us. This house has no insulation at all, not even in the roof. Were saving for that, it will make so much difference. Those little windows near your beautiful oven will be great , a well lit kitchen is so much easier to work in. Thank you for sharing the often messy journey of fixing up. Many people turn their noses up at mobile and modular homes. We rehabbed a 1970’s 14 x 70’ single wide mobile home and later a short double wide modular home for our retirement. We loved the area of the mobile home so the modular home is in a nearby wooded rural location. The modular home was something we picked up from a foreclosure and was a 12 year labor of love. The land is gorgeous. The house was a mess. My husband completely stripped it down to studs, added electric, plumbing, new roof and added a family room. We just love it. No one would ever know it was a modular home. God bless people who rehab rather than have these places hauled away. Most of them are really built well. Ours has 2 x 6 walls making for some thick insulation as well. Nice job!! TFS!!

@@ForgottenWayFarms My son and I always had Tea Time and a chess game. He still remembers those days fondly! When my boys were little we’d have a picnic tea. We’d pack a lunch, put hot tea in a thermos, with 3 China tea cups, and 3 of their favorite books and set out for a fun day.❤️

Abby Jo! I was watching your lastest food prep video and I am pretty sure that was my first video of yours I've seen. I was enamored with your kitchen and then I saw this. God bless all those hands in your family (and strong backs ☺️). I keep telling my husband I want a mobile home. Even a single wide is larger than the square footage we have now where we rent. We have (almost) 6 children, a dog and 2 cats. I dream of land and a home for our family and it almost hurts to think about it. I am grateful for our home we rent, and the yard we have but it is not ours. Thanks for sharing your beautiful transformation!!!! You certainly have a way with filmmaking.

Wow Abbey, what a compliment to Mom! Your older daughter's wish for a tea party with Mom. You don't hear those requests to often anymore. Lastly, your new home is coming along so beautifully, and as I watched the video my thoughts were "this is a family who shares and feels love from home and all of the family's joint efforts are because of that." It is a labor of love. My husband gave his labor of love all our married years to upgrading houses to make living more enjoyable in each of our houses too. I know how hard it is living with a family in a home under construction. It is hard. However, like you said "it is worth it in the end." What a lovely video. I am a new subscriber and I enjoy your channel so much.

Your new kitchen is great! I can relate to your remodeling. We've been working on our kitchen for about 9 months. It's almost done. Just finishing up adding plaster to uneven and horribly out of square walls so we can tile the backsplash. And then some repainting walls. I'm on the third wall color. Natural linen from sherwin williams. I feel the same as you about "too white" paint. 😊 Can't wait to see the final product. In your kitchen AND mine!!!
