I had to laugh as you peeled back the corn husks .... I am surrounded by squirrels and raccoons. So the next morning those husks would be strewn all over the lawn and you would be hard pressed to find a kernel of corn on anything!!! The chili looked delicious. I just need a dollop of sour cream, green onions and some cornbread. YUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM. Off to the grocery store!

Around my area, you don't have to clip off hanging basket hangers, they pull off in three places around the rim. Then they're completely out of the way. Nice decoration and chili.

what a beautiful porch, the yellow corn is dirt cheap what a great idea! I always buy the Indian corn and its 7 bucks a bunch...the lanterns look gorgeous...hey a DIY suggestion, you can buy corn shucks and wet them down, tear the leaves in small strips still attached, let them dry and you can use those under the lanterns instead of the long grass thus looking more like fall decor!! (got this idea from auntie coo coo youtube couple years ago) I use apple baskets to put my mums in they were 99 cents at goodwill and even have a handle you can find great fall decor at thrift/goodwill....great job, looks gorgeous and the autumn chili?? name brand BBQ sauce at dollar tree for $1.25......MMMMM. Happy fall!
