For the command hooks, you'll want to get the heavier duty ones. If you wrap either a wire or pipe cleaner to the hook so that the two ends stick up, you can easily wrap them around your garland and it'll make it more secure on the mantle. I work for an event company and that's how we secure garland so it doesnt move!

For future garland hanging, a couple tips: blast the adhesive with your hair dryer for a few seconds, then press on the hook for 30 seconds to really set it. Wait 20 minutes or so before adding any weight. Love your fall decor! Not too much, just enough. 🥧🍁🍂🧡

Your fall Decour is so cozy and would make me want a cup of hot apple cider or a cup of hot chocolate. I make a fall tree every year this year my husband found a piece of cypresswood that look like a small Christmas tree and he mounted it on a piece of wood that he cut from one of the trees in our backyard and decorated it with a big pumpkin on the top Garland scarecrows small pumpkin sunflowers and I put two candles that are shaped like corn on the cob and I have a happy Thanksgiving pic in it and burlap bow below the big pumpkin on the top it is really cute and I enjoy it and for Christmas I will change the Decour to Christmas decorations, I’ve had some back issues with my back and my leg so I will be doing simple decorations this year but it’s still festive and simple and cozy and Allison that’s exactly what your home exhibits is a loving cozyHome for you and your husband
