I foraged enough greens for my neighbor and did her window boxes this year bc her husband of 55 years passed in November. She appreciated it and I enjoyed doing it. ❤️ Field trips are FUN 😘

Maybe my husband will do it for me. It's been tough this year with the movement and other things but praise God I decorated the tree inside and had mom help us probably going to be the last year since she has dementia, I video taped it too and so glad I did. Looks beautiful!! The white cords look much better than green would against the house. 😊 Word of caution on the candles. If they’re sitting in the sun and you get a warmer day or two they can melt quickly an make a mess of your lanterns. Yep, learned this the hard way in a climate very much like yours. 😳 🤣😂

It looks really festive. I love her regular doormat. I think your sister in law "needs" a porch swing on the right side of the porch. During the warm months, it could face out so folks can sit with a glass of iced tea and enjoy the garden. During the cold months, it could be flipped around to enjoy the cozy ambiance of twinkling g lights on the porch with a warm cup of cocoa or cider. Add seasonal pillows and lighted garland on the swing chains to make it really sweet. Just a thought... maybe a good gift idea!

Very beautiful decorating! My pansies in pots looked beautiful too and I couldn't take them out. So I used different pots for greens on the porch. I put my pansy pots underneath the garage windows and am greeted by blooms when I enter the garage all winter long!
