I use the neck support you get when travelling and add a small towel, then set goblet on it. Works well too.

I don’t see link to mulberry paper. Also, love the two floral napkins you are using. I looked in Vippies, but couldn’t find. Unfortunately though, I am in Canada and the shipping is 100 times more than the napkin. I spend so much time looking for napkins. I have made plates and vases etc. I would love to see how you did dragon flies with all little design attached, probably not fussy cut? Love your videos.

The link is in description box but here it is amzn.to/3gft6wE Vippies Designs napkin come and go and sometimes come back when possible. And they do not ship to Canada. The dragonfly vase is made with a napkin I tore into pieces and fitted together, no fussy cut. But it took awhile to complete. Thank you for tuning in! 🙂 Joan

When I was a girl (a LONG time ago in the 60's and 70's) we used magazines and nail polish to make beads with necklaces and earrings. Could you use National Geographic paper over mulberry paper or would be too opaque and thick?
@JoanMarieDominoАй бұрын
Magazines are too thick. Something translucent like the top printed ply of a napkin works best.

Hi Joan, I have been watching your videos you are great 👍you explain everything so well I love the Napkins you use but sadly I can't order from vippies as they don't deliver to Germany😢 (it's where I live) I have a Question for you I have a tall Lantern the windows are glass I would like to use Mulberry paper then pictures on top would it be better if I ripped the Paper in small pieces rather then use one big peace 🤔🤔 thanks for the great videos 🙏🙏 Greetings from Germany Love Angelika 😍😍
@JoanMarieDomino5 ай бұрын
Hi Angelika! Germany is the Mecca of Napkins, most napkins imported into the states come from Germany so now I am jealous! Lol As for the lantern, I think that maybe you don’t need to tear the mulberry paper just lay it flat. If it’s reverse decoupage you would put the napkins first then the mulberry paper behind. If you do everything from the inside the napkin and mulberry paper will be protected! Thanks for tuning in! - Joan

Joan, can you use rub on transfers on mulberry paper on to a glass? If so can you explain how to do it.
@JoanMarieDomino4 ай бұрын
I have never used rub-on transfers so you will have to experiment on a scrap of Mulberry paper and let me know- Joan

I just got this idea to add some essential oil of rose or lavendar to the Modge podge so that the warmth of the fairy lights could make it smell wonderful. Or, could this be used with actual 'tea light' cancles or just the 'battery operated tea lights or fairy lights?
@JoanMarieDomino3 ай бұрын
I don’t know, I have never worked with scented oil. Fairy lights and battery tea lights, do they even get warm? Mine don’t. I never use real candles so can’t help there. However you can always try adding the oil to MP and see what happens. It’s an interesting idea though! 🙂 - Joan

This is my first time checking into decopaging after seeing some beautiful candle holders with fairy lights and thinking "I could do that!". What I am wondering is this: Why can't I just put the paper on all in one piece, scrinkling it up a little as at the edges of the glass and overlapping it a little as I follow the curved shapes. Have you tried just doing it without tearing the paper into smaller pieces?
@JoanMarieDomino3 ай бұрын
I have done it on flat surfaces I find for curved surfaces smaller pieces work plus it does look different. But you should try! - Joan 🙂
