I moved in with my grandmother because she has dementia.. It's very hard to deal with. My parents live below us and it takes all of us to take care of her.. I'm sorry about your mother but she isn't suffering anymore.. May God bless her soul and may God bring you comfort.. Celebrate her life!

I lost Mine a few years ago but it feels like yesterday as She died in my arms at 88 . The first Mothers Day and the Holidays will be the toughest to deal with. So sorry Ken, my grandma died last April after a several year battle with dementia too. It was heartbreaking to see her deteriorate over the years but I am happy now knowing she is in a better place looking down on all of us. God bless Ken and stay strong!!

Ken, my sincerest condolences to you and your family. Like other people who left comments, I too, recently lost my mom before the Corona Virus fiasco started. I'm having a terrible time coping and wonder if that's one of the reasons why I took on wet shaving as something new to do. To anyone who hasn't been through this, the pain is unimaginable. I imagine this CoVid19 thing is making it that much worse. I deeply hope and pray that you get through this. The virus took my aunt on Good Friday and my cousins are completely lost between the emotional turmoil and the new logistical hurdles of the quarantine. Edit: OMGosh! I just noticed that this video has two dislikes. Sad. Very sad, indeed.

Hi Ken - my profound condolences to you and your family for your terrible loss. I'm going through this myself right now. I took my Dad to the hospital on April 1st and they called me just after midnight the next day to say he had passed on. He was just two months shy of his 84th. My mother is almost 88 and has dementia, so it's been pretty hard navigating this - especially during the current health crisis. My last time seeing my father I was dressed in full protective gear (including face shield). It feels completely surreal.

Sorry to hear about your mom. Dementia is really hard on the person who has it and everyone that cares and loves them. My grandma had Alzheimer's and was in a nursing home for more than 10 years. The only nice thing about that was my grandpa lived a block away from the nursing home and visited almost everyday. She also quite eating several times, had to be on a feeding tube ect. She passed on in 2009 and my grandpa a couple years later. But try and remember all the good times you had with her and now she is in a better place. I will keep you guys in my prayers! God bless!
