One of my favourite things about this game is how expressive this particular Link is. His face is an open book, and it's so refreshing to see a Link who expresses so much emotion so openly. He feels like an actual character, and I really appreciate that. Joy, fury, sorrow, frustration, exhaustion, determination... He's got the whole range, and he's not afraid to show it.

Do joycons have to be calibrated or something I forgot because he was stretching his arms really far just to do the multi select chat with npcs like at the begining with Zelda.
@King_Luigi Жыл бұрын
@@MasterAtlas17 I think most of it is just him exaggerating his movements to be goofy, though a part of it is also just him not understanding the controls. For something like picking dialogue choices you barely need to move it to select them normally. They can also be picked with just the analogue stick, but he probably hasn't realized that.
@Zenshu1 Жыл бұрын
@@MasterAtlas17 yes, there is an option to reset the gyro that you will see every time he opens the menu, he just never used it. The motion control gyros are super wonky if you don't calibrate them because it sets it's 0 position when the joycon powers on so it has no idea where you are actually pointing until you calibrate it since it uses gyor sensors rather than an IR light bar type thing to determine where you are aiming like the Wii did.
@Maxippo Жыл бұрын
I play the game on Wii and I really just think it's because y'all broke your controllers and thats why you hate using motion controls 😂
@King_Luigi Жыл бұрын
@@Zenshu1 This version doesn't have an "option" like that, it's just showing "press this button to do this". The controller can be calibrated _at any time_ with that button, even during cutscenes. (No special screen needed.) You can tell when it's used because it makes a loud sound each time you press it. (Check at: 31:15 and 1:23:15.) But it won't be as useful if you aren't _also_ holding it flat in front of you when it's pressed.

@T101G Жыл бұрын
This playthrough is gonna be great! With the motion controls, i have 2 major tips. 1) Don't feel afraid to press the reset motion button a lot, it is very helpful 2) You don't need to be making such exaggerated movements with your arm. Basically, just move your hand instead of your arm most of the time. This is very prevalent when you are selecting dialogue options, you really only need to point your hand in a direction, not your entire arm. Also Twitch chat or other YT comments have probably already said this but for bird flying you do NOT point the loftwing upwards to go upwards, the loftwing needs to flap to go upwards, which is done by flapping the joycon up and down. And also, only use the right joycon when doing a sword slash, because if you shake both you do a spin attack, which is useful in many situations, but costs stamina so its not a good idea to spam spin attacks.
