incredible result!in fact dundee thumped celtic 4-1 in 1987 at dens aswell!both times celtic were going for the title but suffered a late collapse!1980 aberdeen,1987 rangers!thanks dundee for 86 though lol

Cheers Dundee. That went a lang way to tipping the balance in our favour for the title. 4 days after this game Aberdeen had to go to Parkhead for the second time in 18 days and we duly won 3-1. Ten days later we clinched the title. Happy days.

I was there that day. You wouldn't guess from this footage, but it was all Celtic. Aitkin missed a pen, and ally ( I'll no use his nickname) had a string of great saves an a fair slice of luck. Probably the most bizarre game I ever saw. I mean sinky looked world class! An that dive by popular Peter lol

Was there that day was 12 year old with my father and older brother main stand at dens .terrible result but the rolls n mince are just magic always went to the Dee club always welcome good people they were the days 🇮🇪

19/4/80. Aye, Dundee sadly went down wi Hibs that season (1979/80). They both immediately bounced back the following season, Dundee were runners up.

I was there as a Celtic fan that day it was 5. 1 Dundee and a big Dundee police said to me why are the Celtic supporters singing “you will never know big man because you have never followed the Celtic to be fair Dundee were good that day 😉☘️

Remember watching on Scotsport. i think Celtic hit the woodwork about 4 times. Was worried by the score as Dundee and Killie were battling it out to avoid the 2nd relegation spot at that time. It was a great strip though.
