It's been awhile since posting another video after losing our beloved Queen "G" and mother. I cannot express the sincere appreciation I have with all the love, support, prayers, cards, donations, and encouragement. Caregiving is rewarding, but there are so many terrifying moments in between this difficult journey when you care for the one you love, like your mom.

I still think about the picture I seen when she was in the plane cockpit, her adventurous spirit will always be here. 🙂

It's so nice to see your smiling face. I know how hard this is and I hope you don't push yourself too hard. Time is the great healer, but you have to let it work. I lost my 87 year old sister last year and it was the hardest time for me. I couldn't go anywhere without crying, I couldn't get through a day without memories constantly flooding my mind. It was a year before I felt that I could really go on without my best friend, a year before I started to care for myself again, and it's still damn hard. You will never get over the loss of your beautiful mother, but I promise you it will get easier. Much love to you, sweet Dee.

Dee, I’m so sorry for your loss. I was a caregiver for my dad for 6 years until he passed away a little over a year ago. He was 85 and blessed to live that long, considering so many issues. Grief takes time to heal and process. We’re still healing…❤ Take your time. 🙏 Praying for peace and comfort. Sending much love and hugs!

Hi Dee! It is so good to see you. There will be an adjustment as you get used to your new routine. It took me awhile after my Mom passed. My "job" as Caretaker disappeared in a flash...I was lost. I had a confused time on "what do I do now"? I eventually figured it out and so will you. The footage of Queen G will ALWAYS be a delight. I hope that maybe you will do a Navajo word of the day. And are those 3 cats???!!! Life is always changing and we still have to keep living....it can be a struggle some days, but in the long run, we are thankful for the journey we had so far. Hi Dee & Jay, first off I am so very sorry to hear about the passing of your mother. I am a newbie I only started watching last month (Feb.), so I am binge-watching. I'm going to be 75 this year. OMG, I'm going to be a quarter of a century old. 😳 I've got a few health problems ( who hasn't at this age, lol), but all under control, knock on wood. Your mom was extremely lucky to have you as a daughter and Jay as a son in-law. I on the other hand have 2 adult sons. This concerns me. If the times comes when I need cared for will either of them step up to the plate, probably not. So you and Jay should be extremely proud of what you have done for your mom and not put her into a nursing home. I just love your sense of humor, every once in a while I find myself laughing. You are a comic relief ♥️ Everyone is right you have such a soothing/ calming voice,and your facial expressions 😅 My son's are Taurus and a Leo, I am a Gemini. 💛 from 🇨🇦.

It does get better mine is because I have lost most of my family or it feels like it, Ive lost my Gran, my Dad, sister, Mum and then Uncle more recently. ❤Sending love. Everyone mourns differently. Traditionally there are ceremonies for this time. In Dine there are ways to help one self and in Nez Perce culture we take a year to mourn and remove ourselves fr social events. Hi sister ❤️. Well, cutting my hair is a big NO. Shoot, i even told that to my mom 😆🤣 as we watched a movie🍿. One of our Auntie reminded me to be gentle and stay in doors after the sun went down for several days afterwards which was pretty easy to do. It will just take time for us. It’s time to live our lives now. That’s what she would want👑💕
