I used your techniques yesterday on the course.....mixed bag, but when it was on, I hit balls farther and straighter than I ever have. It's just getting my brain to figure out I want only this swing, not the millions of others I have tried! Lol! I just need to focus and make my practice swings feel the same and then do the same for my actual swing. I tried your methods a few years ago, but my body wasn't ready.....now I feel confident and effortless. Thank you as always!

Whenever I try to improve my inside takeaway, it feels like I'm fighting against the natural arc that the weight of the club head wants to trace. Any suggestions on overcoming this? I'm a premium member, so I have access to that library. Thanks!

Right on Matt! We have the latest series on the 2 pendulum swing started now; latest video; then see “battering ram”, “garage door drill”, “backswing levitation”, “how to match backswing to ball direction” and finally “using the weight in your swing, axe drill with Savy”

From your “Dual Pendulum Part 1” video on premium: “The takeaway is revolving around the first pendulum”. I think my takeaway was revolving around the second pendulum (hands). I think I’m finally on my way to figuring this piece out. Thanks!

Shawn, What is wrong with just starting the downswing with dropping the left shoulder ? I find it works the same from the position your going in on this video . Your thoughts .

We want to be able to achieve the action without focusing on body parts that will eventually get overdone; happens every time! The key is a task to a target that you continuously get better at and evolve into mastery!

Insightful video. I've had problems this year following the advice (of another coach) to ensure that I place my club in the "hat shelf" in the backswing (in order to position myself prior the downswing). This led to a ton of problems (deep backswing, overturning, over the top etc...). On certain days I still managed to get the club back to good impact, but most of the days I just sabotaged for myself. Now on a much better track, thanks to your premium series. So much simpler If I just have the image of swinging a sledge hammer through the ball. If I would use a sledge hammer, I would never ever attempt to place it in a hat shelf above my shoulder prior to driving it through the obstacle.

For most this may be true but the greatest ball strikers: Norman Hogan and Trevino might beg to differ.

I came across one of your other videos with you and Sav using the lagshot. After seeing this video it makes sense that getting stuck demonstrates that the tool is not loading in a way to go to the target. Hopefully this is the missing link I need 😅. See you in our next online lesson!

Shawn, Wearing out a golf glove below the pinky just under first large crease ? Wearing a hole out . Is this a problem with releasing the club ? Or this is the place most gloves wear out. Nobody seems to have an answer ? Your turn Mr. Wisdom in Golf . Cheers

Great video Shaun using the swing, thought of throwing the club out towards the target I have hit some of my longest shots of my life. I noticed though I’m also hitting a lot of thin shots now any ideals on what the cars may be? Thanks for all the great videos.

As they say, thin to win! 😀😝 This is now all about the PREDICTION PROCESS, we have an amazing series on our premium channel called the “goldilocks series” which allows you to FEEL AT ADDRESS, BEFORE YOU TAKE THE SHOT, that your distance to ball, ball position, POSTURE LEVELS (feel of solid contact) and grip club relationship is such that WHEN YOU THROW THE CLUB INTO THE DIRECTION OF FLIGHT that you feel the ball will start that way, BE WELL STRUCK, and fly with the curvature you want. Hi Shawn, a premium member here! Just wanted to understand your thoughts on swallowing the club on the downswing to bring it from inside, and flexing the wrists to close the club face to create lag?

I’ve noticed lately that the deep backswing is killing me. Causing intercostal rib pain as well but ever since I’ve been trying to avoid this the rib pain has been improving. This will be put into practice soon!

@@golflessons and by the way, as you pointed out, I was told to go deep with the arms during my first ever golf lesson a few years back. Unfortunately, they are really pushing this bad concept!

Fantastic explanation, Shawn! The breakdown of the 'deep arms' issue and the biomechanics of the golf swing was incredibly insightful. Understanding the dual pendulum concept really opened my eyes to how I can improve my own swing. I've been struggling with consistency, and this video provides clear guidance on what to focus on during practice. Thanks for sharing these valuable tips-I'm looking forward to applying them and watching more of your content! 🏌♂⛳
