Wish mine cleaned that easily. Took 4 shots of dark fury and 1 of an iron remover with a brush and a pressure washer. Hit it with a ceramic coat afterwards. Did the suspension while the wheels was off also.

Great video! I am a dark fury fan, it’s the best non-Acid wheel cleaner I have tried! It’s safe on paint so a little overspray isn’t a big problem. For an Acid based cleaner I recommend Superior Wire wheel cleaner. Also I recommend using a synthetic sealer wax on the wheel after cleaning. It will keep the wheels looking nicer longer and make them easier to clean.

Hey Rich. Thanks for the view. Your right about Dark Fury, best on the market. I have noticed that it’s clear coat safe so no worries there. I’ve used it several times to remove bugs off of hoods and grilles and it never fails to get the job done. What synthetic sealer do you like most?

Thanks for watching! Yes this product is amazing. It has worked very well fo me and have had luck using it on various surfaces such as bumpers, paint and even a thing or two around the house. *warning this product will stain polished aluminum. Found out the hard way. So be careful if your ever using it to clean tires around this type of wheel because you will be forced to polish them afterwards.

Pink perfection for the win. It’s so cheap and even at a ph of 7 is impressive! I’ve had dark fury/rage stain things in the past so I stepped away from it. Great video!

How do these compare to Superior's Wire Wheel cleaner and Acid Wheel cleaner?

Hi. In all honesty I have not tried either one of those two products. I do recall watching one of Superior’s videos and coming to the conclusion that they are probably to harsh for my particular application. However if I ever end up using them I will upload a review. Thanks for watching. 👍🏻

@@therestomaestro3556 Stock Honda rims on a CR-V I found on FB marketplace. Wondering if I should try something safer for the clear coat before risking damage. Walmart's Purple cleaner degreaser or Eagle One perhaps. Am not a detailer so need to find something cheap and local if you have any suggestions... My advice would be either what you already have in mind, use something clear coat safe and see how it turns out. In that event I would buy rage by superior products in the spray bottle at Oreilly’s. If it doesn’t knock ir out of the park you can always use it to clean tires. Second option I would take is buy the acid based cleaner as DPC mentioned in his video but I would start with a 10:1 and being it up proper strength until I’m satisfied with the results. Starting with a high ratio will decrease the chance of the acid damaging your wheels. Keep me posted!

I personally have not. Used it on painted/clear coated wheels and it did good. I know you can dilute it. In the event your afraid it will damage your wheels you may want to do a 10:1 ratio or something. 10 parts water 1 part product. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Please pre rinse the wheel next time with a hose. It's hard to tell how much work the chemical is actually doing without that step
