Dark Fury works well for many applications, as some have already mentioned. Early on, I would get staining. Trick is to dilute it well, spray it on while car is wet, avoid windows and hot panels. Rinse very well and Wash well with a Ph balanced soap. It's still a hitter for me as an all in one type of product. Wet or Foamed on
@jeremytelman68975 ай бұрын
Like some others have said, Dark Fury, is my absolute favorite detailing product hands down. 1 gallon diluted into 4 gallons of water in a 5 gallon with distilled water It is absolutely a touchless option, I’ve cleaned some really caked on nasty wheels only touchless, barrels included. The key in my testing was , spray all the wheels and wheel wells, then go rinse from your starting point. And it comes out perfect 99% of the time. It is so versatile, I use it on the front bumper, the lower quarters of the car, plastic trim that’s gunked up. I do touchless door jambs with it, it is safe on coated cars, I’ve used it on coated vehicles many times and it uncloges the coatings where applied. And the price, literally can’t be beat. 23.99 at o’Riley’s for 5 gallons of ready to use product. You won’t find that anywhere. I honestly love superior products, unfortunately I have a hard time getting them in Canada without crossing over the boarder and picking them up at orileys

Just be careful spraying all wheels at the same time. This stuff is caustic and can ruin certain finishes if it sits on there too long.

Great review. That’s what deterred me from buying dark fury was the strong smell. It’s great cleaner and affordable!! but not for my lungs.

Nice review, Martin! I've never used DF on wheels/tires, but it's my go-to on filthy-nasty-neglected door jambs. I can spray it, let it set for a few seconds (not too long), and then rinse it off carefully with a pressure washer. No scrubbing generally needed at all. Good stuff for that role!

What kind of spray bottle do you use? Every single spray bottle I have ordered or bought anywhere doesn’t even work at all! Why do people make products that just don’t work and then they sell them. I need something that’s gonna work like a real spray bottle. Do you know what you use there?

The trigger sprayers I like to use are made by Tolco. The bottles are mostly generic other than the Carpro Dilute bottles.

pH 11 is not that bad, considering Adams W&T is pH 13. Did you test the pH of DF undiluted?
@chrisbradley322411 ай бұрын
pH does not tell you much. Many detailers don’t understand this. A few drops of hydrochloric acid in water will produce a very low pH because pH is logarithmic, but this solution would be weak and safe. Or, a high concentration of a weaker acid could have the same or lower pH and be highly corrosive. Since he diluted it 1:4 then the neat pH is about 12. It’s not linear, but logarithmic. I suspect this stuff is MUCH stronger than Adam’s Wheel and Tire.
@BelLavoroAutoSpa11 ай бұрын
I have not, I just test at the suggested dilutions for best info. Purpose for testing ph is just to show where the product falls on the scale so you know what materials to avoid contact with.
@BelLavoroAutoSpa11 ай бұрын
@@chrisbradley3224 I think it is a better wheel cleaner than adams, but not a better tire cleaner. adams is insanely strong on rubber. likely has to do with the surfactants used.
@chrisbradley322411 ай бұрын
@@BelLavoroAutoSpaI see, probably correct. I would still be careful with this stuff, if you did a raw aluminum test I’m sure it’ll be quite corrosive.
