I work for a commercial detailing company and we work with a lot of dealerships in our area. The newer ford trucks are hands down my favorite vehicle to work on. The back seats lifting up, how well the floormats work, and how easy the material of the carpets and interior plastics are to clean makes them so nice to clean. I always get excited when we get on in our shop.

I know you won't see this, but I wanted to thank you for posting your videos. I have severe anxiety to the point of self-harm. Your detailing is so calming. You always do things in the same order. I know that once the car is foamed I will see you with your brush cleaning the door handles, around the gas tank lid/inside, and on to the name plate. Also, seeing the water change color when your running the extractor gives me a sense or peace. I'm sure it sounds weird, but I'm in my 50's and I'm still trying to find ways to cope and your videos really help. Thanks!

Once it’s set it dries like a waxy finish. It’s jet wash proof and fully protects against rust. It has a nice soap attachment as well as a scrubber bay that automaticlly cleans a big soft squeegee on a handle, but it uses soap to clean it also with pressure. When I come across black plastic pieces that have been damaged by chemicals that alter the color I sometimes use black car wax to mask it since I can't replace it. Makes it look 100x better than what it did before. Can't do anything for warped pieces though. Also sometimes a heat gun can help pull the color back out too.

I completely agree with your disappointment about the carpeted wheel well liners. They could easily have used carpet/fabric in the inside surface and rubber or plastic on the outside surface. Then it would be both easy to clean, and reduce road noise. (Like a floor mat, carpet one side, rubber the other.) To be honest, who really cares that much about road noise on a work truck anyway?
