Nicely done, really makes a difference. I generally add around 250ml of Screwfix no nonsense degreaser to the foam mix for engine bay cleaning, helps breakdown the more stubborn oily bits leaving a nice clean finish with a little less scrubbing. 5L is around £9 last time I got some.

Cheers mate. Would you like to see the interior detail too? I’ve never ever had an issue with cleaning my engine bay, just make sure you disconnect your battery and don’t spray directly into any sensors and you’re good👍🏻

Hi mate, next time try some No nonsense degreaser from toolstation, 5 litres for 8 quid. I usually get a couple of 5 litres, you can dilute 50/50 with water, if you get a Karcher K4 you can use an old Karcher shampoo bottle and put the degreaser through the machine under pressure. Works a treat George, especially on greasy areas, engine's, chassis work, wheel arches etc. Give it a go and see how you get on...I've just finished doing this on an 8 year old car which had never been pressure washed since new and it came up a treat, like new almost. I've just ordered up another 4 bottles of seafoam to add to the crankcase of vehicles I'm working on over the next few weeks, I'm not kidding, add 10oz to your engine and drive it for a couple of hundred miles and what a difference it will make to the cleanliness of the inside of the engine. It might help with your MPG a bit as well. Good video mate...

Done it for years on all my cars, never had an issue. You have to think; there is always water hitting your engine when you’re driving in the rain so it has to be water resistant

I thought it was a bad idea to Jerry wash the engine bay? Perhaps my understanding was wrong. Wouldn’t water get into the air inlets? Wouldn’t the degreaser wash off and needed lubrications? Thanks for sharing!

Hi George, I have the exact same thin dent/scratch on my rear offside door too. Any tips for trying to remove it? The amazon bought glue guns etc with the pullers simply can’t pull something as narrow as that out. I’m thinking filler and a small paint job might be the only way forward.

Replacing the door is probably the best way as it has gone through the paint
