Deep Cleaning The Interior Of A Stinky BMW E46 Touring

We washed the exterior of the E46, now its time the interior is addressed! This car was frequently driven in the winter, Canadian winter that is. So it shows signs of an obvious salty mess and grubby floor mats. In the video we take care of all surfaces, from scrubbing all the vinyls and leathers to melting out salt stains with hot water extractor. I had my E46 touring professionally cleaned last week. It was a pleasure to drive it afterwards although the seat is a bit slippy. I like the fruity smell of the products. The guy said the factory mats and carpet are kind of thick compared to some. I'm going to keep it nice for as long as possible.

Still one of the most gorgeous interiors. Really makes the driver feel special and the material quality has really stood the test of time (if well maintained of course)… I can only wonder if the F or the G series’ interiors will also look this great after two decades? 🤔 Both remind me of the E36/E46 style of driver focus. I think in summary its only the E90 that was a bit of a mis for me - though I thoroughly loved my E90 320d 😌 Thanks for the trip down memory lane!

Just did this on mine today, I rarely drive the car, and weirdly I find that when the weather gets hotter, the grey leather on the door handles leeches a dark color, same with the steering wheel. Looks grimy as hell. Good thing chlorox wipes take it right off lol. Mine also developed a nasty leak over the winter where anytime it rains, tons of water ends up on the rear drivers side floor, like standing water bad. Saw there was a rip in my door seal for the rear driver door, hopefully sealing that will resolve the issue.

Love to hear it Michael! Honestly without an extractor I’m not overly sure as I have never had much luck. You can rent a rug doctor from Home Depot for a few hours for like $10.00. That would be my suggestion if you want to get it perfect

hello good afternoon, i have a seat ibiza 6j fr in white color ... Recently polished my car with polish koch chemie h9 and microfiber pad for cutting ... At the end of the cut I went through the finishing phase, I used a sonax perfect finish with a white rupee beret, and I didn't see any differences .... So I experimented with the essence of carpro, it was the same ..... I didn't notice no difference from polishing to finishing .... Did the k9 chemie h9 cut and finish ?! it's possible ?! it only has a 5 finish, and a 10 cut .... Somebody help me ?!
