Deep Creek Lake Diving and Fishing May 22nd 2023

Was a nice day of fishing and diving on May 22nd. The tires we found were probably placed by the DNR long ago. Looked like they have been down there for a long time.

Nice crappie. Do you do majority of your fishing in cove on the other side of Honi”s cove

Hi Steve. Much of my fishing is on the opposite side of the Glendale bridge from where to Honi is located. When I had a fishing boat I would cover a lot more of the lake. With a kayak and boat traffic, I’ve become a little more limited. I enjoy night fishing at the Glendale bridge.

@@jasontrimbur8497 I knew you were close to the Glendale bridge, just didn’t know if you were in the cove opposite Honi. So you’re state park side? I’m not crazy about kayaking there in heavy boat traffic. To many new boaters not watching what there doing. We were very happy when they made our cove no wake. I’ll be at deep creek the week of Father’s Day would be nice to meet you and maybe fish
