For some Smokies visitors, Deep Creek is an unexplored area of the park. But those visitors are missing out on a wonderland of water and forests that's just too good to pass up. Come along on a short hike to three different waterfalls and enjoy the sights of Deep Creek in Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

I will never understand posts like some of the negative ones here. Why post that? If you don't want to watch, by all means, don't. I love these videos. While the American west is beautiful, I agree, the Smokies are soft, green and beautiful in their own special way. Thanks so much for making these videos GSM!

For anyone who loves the Smokies or just hasn't ever made the trip to Deep Creek, it's really worth a visit. The Smokies have a history of people being here, from the Cherokee, to the logging days, to park visitors from all over today. Some times of the year are busier than others. There is an untouchable beauty in the music of the waters and cool fresh air, though this place is not literally untouched. Glad you have continued to explore and hope your father had a wonderful time at Deep Creek.

@chn817 Not by Smokies standards. The entire trial is 14.2 miles & gains 3000 ft, but the section described here with the waterfalls is very easy. Especially if you return to Deep Creek Trail (not the horse trail as shown in the video) after viewing Juney Whank Falls. You can then take the flatter Deep Creek Trail past Tom Branch Falls and to Indian Creek Trail, and then return on the same Deep Creek Trail. You'll have to go down some steps to view Indian Creek & Juney Whank Falls.

I hiked to all 3 waterfalls at Deep Creek yesterday. I read in a book there is an old cabin after Indian creek waterfall. I didn't hear about it on this video??? Could you please let me know if cabin still there??? Thank you, Lori Opper G.S.M.A.. member I really don't want 14.2 miles to try to find it.

I have found a few other interesting videos by this same account. I cannot imagine clicking, "unlike" for any types of videos that are off the purpose to help guiding people. While I am looking up to do more hikes to waterfalls, besides the Smoky Mountain and Maggie Valley, near Cherokee, I am glad that I come across this video. It is very helpful where I can see exactly what all those falls look like not to mention the explanation in motion pictures. The Chamber of Commerce mentioned that those were the only waterfalls in Bryson City. Correct?
