I live in SC and Julia Ann Bean is being investigated as another one. Bean, a 36-year-old woman from Sumter, South Carolina, was last seen on May 31, 2017. This vehicle was later impounded from Heuermann’s property in Chester County, South Carolina

He is not just a serial killer but a serial torturer. He had Jessica in basement for 4 days per police timeline. His manifesto said strong rope and sturdy ceiling points and to get a lot of sleep so could have fun “playing”. So he tortured Jessica and maybe even dismembered Jessica while living and over a 4 day period. Unthinkable that a human could do this to another human. Jessica did nothing to him. Things like excuses to be away for days, not going on family trips, being a loner, mood swings and violent 'snapping', locked rooms/sheds/garages that no one else is allowed in, time spent online looking at sadistic or creepy sites, a fascination with guns/weapons, etc. could be red flags. Weren’t most of the known victims escorts who wouldn’t have “needed”(ugh I hate writing that) to be hunted? This document of his makes me feel sick and very concerned that he has many more victims. I wonder if he had 2 very different victim profiles, the “party girls” who would go with him voluntarily and then the seemingly random, unsuspecting type who he would hunt. If he did also hunt random women, the kind who wouldn’t willingly go anywhere with him, there’s really no way of even guessing how many victims there could be. There would be no reason to connect disappearances of unconnected women from unconnected places. And as a hunter, he would be familiar with operating in the wilderness. Depending on the area, things can easily disappear into the woods and never be seen again. He could’ve also shifted his MO multiple times. This is all so disturbing. The level of planning and intentionality is absolutely chilling. It really opens up the possibility that there could be dozens of victims

I think for a lot of these creeps their downfall is their arrogance. They become negligent when they aren‘t caught for a while and think they can get away forever bc they think of themselves as „one of the smartest guys ever“. I‘m happy he‘s not in society anymore but it‘s still sad he wasn‘t caught much earlier. Poor victims with this disturbed human being. Every min with him must have been like hell…

the plastic bag boxes, that was on an episode of law and order i think it was back in the late 90's, a killer used plastic bags and they id'ed him because in the manufacture process the bags have different striations, its like matching up tree rings. He not only used books but watched murder mystery shows. I feel this list was when he decided to change his mo, I'm sure he changed it many times. I also think i met this dude in the pocono's in '88 in a club on main street stroudsburg.

Oh my goodness and remember that one detective swinger said that they were "playing" a game when he left that house? He even referred to the time with these girls that he had had in a locked volt sadistically hung and tortured alive for days "play time" I'm very very curious on who that detective is. And why he would just leave a girl there naked and frightened.

Wow!! Great episode. Re-watch x 2 as I missed this live! There's just so much to absorb and digest with this case as it stretches so far back and is so gruesome in details! The original Gilgo 4 very well might turn into the Gilgo 44, or more! The Press Conferences have been excellent as well. LE is doing a great job. Keep up the good work Gisela! Your presentations are so well put together, informative, polished and professional!

Looking at HK doc (possibly ‘Hunt Kill’), I think RH started hunting his victims within his house (while family away) then carried them to the sealed off area in the basement (plastic sheets etc), this became too risky and infrequent. So he evolved to going on overnight ‘hunting trips’ while family still home. He’d drive a victim to a remote hunting area (involving “a long walk”) wearing his hunting gear, likely where he’d already set up an area, left supplies & tools, built hunting groundblinds (camo plastic & burlap) etc. Once finished he disposed of their bodies wrapped in the camo burlap that was used to shield them from view. The ‘sound travels bird call’ to me means how far noises travel when outside. I think the ‘Pre-prep,Prep,Post Event’ is all about an outdoor hunting area. ‘Zone for vid cams’ could be Game/Trail Cameras he set up over a large area, this would explain all the memory cards and needing to ‘distroy files’ off each camera. I think he built his ‘stage’ out in the forests, I reckon there could still be makeshift tents, tables, crossbars on trees etc with surrounding game camera’s up in the trees still set up waiting for his next hunting trip. Deer hunting would provide an easy cover story if questioned.

I always feel the worst for Amber Costello. Since her and her friend pulled that “boyfriend came home and caught us” bit on RH and took his money, I’ve always figured she probably paid a horrific price for doing that to him. I hope I’m wrong and her and all of the victims had as easy a passing as possible under the circumstances, but I’ve always felt bad for her because of how I assume RH is.

@@Angel-Rae I’ve wondered that also, and as a former addict myself I have to assume it was money. She probably thought “if he was violent he would have freaked out the other day”, and she needed the money to get herself right with her habit, and then she met up with the devil.

@lavelwynder265 True Crime with Nathan Adams is excellent & very well researched. Nathan has done extensive research into cold cases in NY state & other US states where Rex Heuermann had links. His most recent video shows an Uncle with the initials WH, Rex’s links through his family to the Catholic Church & LE. His Patreon channel is free too & had a video that is not available on KZbin. I highly recommended his channel, he is very respectful of the victims & their families. it would be great to have Gisela K interview Nathan Adams to discuss his extensive research.

@@AlwaysStormy88 he did get a buccal swab taken by warrant when arrested. However According to NY state law nobody's DNA is uploaded into the criminal database until they're convicted of a crime. Joe Giacolone, (KZbin channel same name) a retired NY Sargent said that Las Vegas was fighting NY to get the DNA. But he was unsure of the outcome.
