@GrizzlyTrueCrime If the two women were prostitutes In the same area, it's possible that Bitrolff had unprotected sx with both women, but did not kill them. Rex's document suggests that he didn't have sxx with the women he k*lled. He used toys & other items but not intercourse. So Rex could have picked up the same prostitutes on the same day, and murdered them. Rex also chopped wood, and he built cross bars etc out of wood for his torture. So it could have easily been wood from Rex's house & fathers workshop. Funny how Tom Spota was in charge at that time also.. another Corrupt CROOK! 🙄

Might be helpful to know exactly when Rex had googled Bitroff's name, especially in relation to missing/found victims. Maybe Rex left bodies near Bitroff's "known" sites as a way to deflect detection away from himself? Then again, serial killers typically hate it when someone else gets credit for their "work". 🤔

Those searches were released at the time of his arrest and they were found by monitoring Rex…it was before they had possession of any of his devices. So these were things that he searched within the last few years. I think it should be noted that Rex is a sadist and his other searches of names were all of his victims and their family members…so Rex can look at these people and take pleasure in the pain he caused them. Can he do the same with John?

It’s not like going to work and talking about fishing and making friends who enjoy fishing…people don’t talk about serial unaliving people so there’s no way to meet someone with similar interests. It was normal, advanced even for the times in my program, and it is amazing to watch the years of advancement, OMG have the dna and identifablity changes come a LONG WAY! But remember, they did this early in advancement, so they never thought they would be caught if they spread the body parts around at the time. Native Americans had a tradition of eating a deers heart freshly after it was harvested. They believed they could gain qualities of the animal, such as bravery, strength, and agility. Regular Americans who spend time in the woods have heard these stories and they re-enacted them…maybe they were fascinated by how primal it is or something, but I personally know people who have done this. It doesn’t mean anything. Deer are harvested for meat in the first place, as are pigs. That’s where pork comes from. I don’t understand how that behavior can be considered as similar to what John was convicted of. It’s not. Also Rex was a woodworker. He’s talked about how he enjoys woodworking and in his planning document he wrote of constructing a table for each victim. That would require a wood saw and and it would create saw dust, or “chips”. This isn’t condemning evidence

The only real evidence they had was his DNA on 2 victims, which is actually pretty condemning, but given their line of work it’d be easy to reasonably argue it. On top of that there was sawdust found stuck to the victims…the police lost this evidence but they alleged that since John was a carpenter he left a trail of sawdust wherever he went. They alleged that the crimes took place there in the woods and the sawdust was apparently falling off of John. On top of that the prosecution argued John’s character by saying that he once ate a fresh deer heart and butchered a pig

One thing that is clear, is that John was having sex with sex workers while he was married. He was hiding in plain sight, acting like the friendly neighbour. I am sure his wife and family feel sick to find out that the 'nice friendly' husband and father was a dark horse, leading a double life having sex with sex workers. I'm sure he didn't want anyone to find out about his secret life, and acted like the personable neighbour, etc. His semen and dna was found in the two murdered ladies. If forensics found other dna and semen they would know by now if it also tied back to RH. In other words, the ladies were having sex with multiple men. Then again Rex had a 'sales and marketing plan' typed up with strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats, all documented on his MO including washing and cleaning all 'cavaties'. 😡 Is there anything to link the ladies John has been accused of killing, to RH? It is all being investigated. Other people are thinking the same thing. Maybe RH was watching the news all the time keeping an eye on what was being reported after he allegedly murdered his victims. He would notice it, if he heard of other sex workers being killed and not by him (allegedly). I don't know about the timing but RH could have heard about how the John victims were found, less a shoe, and copied John to confuse LE. Almost like a game of cat and mouse between serial killers. They might not know eachother at all but would keep an eye on the news and glean info that way. And one serial killer could copy another to throw LE off, like RH. He might have copied the less one shoe calling card. Just talking about this is sickening. The map showing where two men lived, not far from eachother, were killing sex workers and doing horrific things to these woman. On that narrow arm of land, there were alot of dead bodies and two killers. It is horrific. I feel for these ladies who for whatever reason went down the wrong path who were brutally murdered. These ladies were children once, who have parents, families and friends. They did not deserve to be brutally murdered. I hope that LE don't stop until they put all the pieces of the puzzle together and can get justice for ALL the victims and their families. Thank you G for your informative presentations.

G, you made an observation about how people are going at Rex's family. I'm old enough to remember a time before Internet. I love this channel and many others but no Facebook or X. I think of what Harley went through. It happens so often and this toxic, acid tongue wagging (typing) occurs when a family has lost a loved one or has been abused or traumatized in some ways. I could see the comments pushing someone too far. Sorry to ramble but it's a topic I think about when a new high publicity case occurs. I believe that if you wouldn't say something to someone in person, don't be an Internet bully. I drilled that into my boys when we got our first computer. Major pet peev to me. 🤨

I mean…Rex wrote in his planning document about constructing a table for each victim, with a “cross bar” (a brace to stabilize the legs). These would be cut with a wood saw. So ask yourself what is more probable…is it more likely that these women got sawdust on them from being placed on a freshly constructed table or is it more likely that some sawdust was falling out of John’s pockets as he was out in the woods?

@@rochcarothers-ts3jx The only problem I have with that is that John’s first victim and Heuermann’s first victim were found the same month haha…November 1993. So it’d be hard for one to copy the other imo, especially since Rex is a guy that plans thing out probably months-years in advance. He’d have to plan his wife’s vacations before doing anything

I said very early on that I wouldn't be surprised if old Rex either A started out dismembering victims and then switched. Or my theory B he had a mentor, and he dumped his victims with his mentors, and that's why they were all so close together on that stretch of Gilgo. I lean towards A, but we shall see

Overwhelming with all the probables of all four men operating at the same time. There were many situations we still do not know about like the Zodiac killer, Ted Bundy, Green river killer and others........Why? What makes them the way they are? It is like they have a duel personality’s, I want to know what makes them kill. I guess everyone wants to know. Thank you for doing such a fabulous job of reporting to us all.❤❤

I really love your coverage. You even pronounce those American Indian names of the Long Island towns correctly! (And you pronounced Islandia correctly too, which is great since that area only became a Village a few years ago and no one was sure how to pronounce it.) Congratulations on getting over 300k subs. Just an FYI....Robert Shulman was not a landscaper. He worked for the post office.

I remember that Adidas top, Gisela! Interesting stream. Bitrolff should definitely be given a chance here and these should be reinvestigated by the Gilgo Taskforce. Both murders he was convicted of sound too much like Costilla's murder. I'd say all three were the same killer. God, what if John Bitrolff is completely innocent!!

I think from knowing the area well of Gilgo and Manorville Pine barrens . Everyone knows it is a heavily wooded areas. Bittrolff may not have killed anyone possibly. Devious people with bad intentions may find these areas perfect for disposing of victims. Both areas are very rural. I do feel bad for all the victims and their families. Didn't Heuremann say he has a woodshop?

I don't think we will hear about evidence connecting RH to victims charged to Bittrolff until after they go through the legalities of acquitting him or granting his appeal...I am not a lawyer, so I don't know for sure, but I think they are still looking at every victim that is similar and won't announce anything for certain until they have overwhelming evidence

Question? Were the Bitrollf “ dates and murders” televised BEFORE Rex’s resent “ Costella ‘s murder? Meaning Rex could have removed the shoe after reading/watching the telly about the Bitrollf. Theres that huge difference of the 27 stab wounds too. They should look into the “ other” DNA forsure!!! Could be a good case for a mistrial if the police didnt keep all the other DNA .

His footnotes from "mind hunter" clearly mention that dismemberment is indicative of disorganized; it's clear to me, he was trying to confuse law enforcement by changing M.O. (and it worked) I think the left shoe thing is probably a similar ploy: designed to deceive. Also the timeline he wrote down 2000-2004 would indicate to me that he was aware that this would need changing again.

I'm wondering if there is a serial killer club there in LongIsland where they compare each other's notes, thus Rex's note to self. I wouldn't put it past them if they met up under a "hunting club" teaching each other how to hunt. The does and don't's. on hunting peopleI not animals. Also wouldn't put it past them if they worked together in some cases. Which is why there is so much similarities and confusion between their MO's. I've always thought that who ever was responsible for these murders didn't work alone. I'm still not convinced that The person responsible for Shannon Gilbert's death worked alone.

You just glossed over the fact that a police Sergeant’s was fingered by the wife of a fellow police officer that she knew the police officer killed one of the women. Why aren’t they going after the police sergeant? Maybe John Bitrolff was railroaded. One of Rex Hermann’s uncles was a police officer also.

I don't think ANY of this is a coincidence honestly. I think they were friends. John Bitrolff. I am starting to think this could be bigger than Rex Himself. like could there have been a network or something of people with similar interests and "hobbies" that somehow know each other? Because the girls were a type. As a true crime person this case is so much more massive than anything.

Hi, is anybody taking a look at these weirdos and supposing possibly, that maybe given when the women’s are the wives were out of town and Rex Herman‘s life that he might’ve brought the girl to his house held her and then brought her to the hunting lodge, where all of them are in on it and it’s a hunting party where they’re hunting the biggest sport of all which is a live human being And has anybody else supposing what if they are taking turns with burying the bodies which would ensure mutual destruction if anybody told on anybody else. What if all these guys have a sick hunting club that’s designed to just make sure that they’re prayed is scared and human and then they have their way with her… It really makes sense It feels like some weird secret hunting club that maybe members graduate into act for a while so somebody’s older cases might’ve been these other guys and then you get indoctrinated in later and that’s why they’re such distinct different timelines… Maybe?
